My my, how time flies when you're doing campaign. I managed to get my Gold Star of Service ∮ ∮ ∮ ∮; Just a few more days and I'll have my Cobra Unit Cap! I also just finished getting Dancer to 31~! The mandragora I leveled on (soloing) ate some sole sushi or something... I just noticed that I tend to use a lot of excalamation points when I get things done... hrrrm?
I got my Iron Emblem of Service ∮ ∮ yesterday! I don't quite have a use for rank yet, but I may as well get credit for the campaigns I'm doing for merits. I felt like leveling Bard for a little while, do I got it to 4,000 til 56...then I was tired of it again. At least while in campaign...haha. I'm still trying to decide what to level melee-wise, and I keep coming back to two optiony~woptions: Dragoon and Monk. I'm torn about Monk, because Kiila's already one, and Dragoon...I just dunno which. I've had this battle forever now! Monk seems to be winning in my mind though...I'd rather be the taru Monk and enjoy being it than just look cool clothing-wise being the Taru Dragoon. If that made an~y sense.

I got Mythril Star ∮ ∮ ∮ campaign rrrank! One closer to the Cobra Unit Cap I want. It's not perfect, and it's not an OHat, but I think it'll be good enough forrr me. I'm not at a good accuracy/hit percentage and I think it'll work out well. Now if only I'd go finish leveling Dancer to 37...I want to level something, but I just don't knooowwwwwwww what to do. So, in that downtime of not knowing, I've done some quests and campaigns with Darkcow. I completed The Tigress Strikes and the Back to the Beginning mission with it. I also completed a merit and used it for Kick Attack Rate. ♥
Wow! I got the Copper Emblem of Service ∮ rank! As far as Wiki knows, I'm in the highest Campaign rank-section attainable right now! I also finished a few more merits, and added them to Lightning and Ice Potency. Campaign is a lot more fun (read: I get more pointy~woints!) after the recent update where Ward BPs hit everyone in the radius! It's great! Helps everyone stay alive, helps me stay alive and get points. ♥ On another note, I now have ToD for Shikigami Weapon...and I just don't really feel like camping him at all. Just doesn't seem worth the strain. I mean, I want the body piece, but I don't have tons of friends who will drop everything to go out there to maybe claim him. I finally stopped being lazy and got Dancer to 30! Finally got to switch my gearrr to Merc. Captain's stuff and now I look!...like a Thief. lol oh well. At least I'm a rawrrrin'-hot THF lookalike! And I got lots of new toys at 30- Desperate Flourish, Boxstep, Curing Waltz II...now I'm unstoppable!
Ohhhhmaigoodness. I found an item that was released with this update that I must fight for-- Vicious Mufflers!! THEY ARE AMAZING, and require fighting NO GODS! AHHHH!! The NM (and the mobs for pop items) are rough, but with Cow, 'Talo and myself, we can take him. I am so excited to work on getting these, as they're just as good as Zenith Mitts (sans the MP, but hell I don't have the HP to losey~wose anyway..). Oh, and I got Monk to 13! Lol.

Guh, I have been a lazy lazy taru about updating. I've gotten a few little things done, but not much. I managed to get Lance Corporal Mercenary Rank, as well as the Golden Star ∮ ∮ ∮ ∮ Campaign service rank. I also got Dancer to 12! I'm really trying to focus in on what I want to do job~wob wise..I haven't had a real desire to do BRD these past few days...Dragoon or MONK?!
My story was featured on the Egg-stravaganza 2008 page!! Squarrre-Enix actually chose MINE! HOW EXCITING!
Had to take a picturrrre of it, I was so psyched! Any~way, I got Dancer to 29! I'd really like to level some...but I tend to get clogged up. As in, I get bogged down with stigmas about 'I have to do this' or 'I need to level that' or 'Well I want to do this, but I've already gotten this so far...' so I'm really trrrying to break the habit. Because I'm a sexybeast and must levelz, yo~!

I've just beeny~ween workin' on merits this morning. So far, I've gotten 1, and I'm only.. 44.. til another. lol. Darkcow and I decided to try somewhere new aside from Jugner (S) for campaign, so we've been out in Rolanberry (S) since lat night. The campaigns don't seem as frequent, but so far I've gotten more per campaign than I did in Jugner; 1400-1750 per. Nice! I don't know if it's faster, slower, or what, but eh, it's getting merits. I need to make a list of what merits I need to get and their cost, so I can really start burning through them. Yesterday and the night before, I decided to level up Dragoon some-- just got 19 last night. It was pretty fun!
I've been trrrying to level lately...but everytime I get on to level, there's no one on to party with, and I just get frrustrated with it. Maybe I can figure something else out to do while Vacious worrks on his merits...then I can work on mine!

I completey~weted another merit, and decided to put it on Summoning Magic Skill since more over the cap = more Accuracy and the like. And that's pwnage, yo~oo. I'm working on more merits now, because I really want them to be done; fully merited BLM+SMN=pwn. When I was doing the Operation Desert Swarm runs the other night, I realized my BLM damage was poor versus the other's, none of which were taru and mostly wearing the same gear as me. That gave me a kickey~wick in the buttaru to seriously work on my BLM's potency and such for spells; my gear can't get much better (aside from HNM gear), so it must be my merits.

I've been a bit lazy~wazy in updates. Sorry! I have gotten quite a few things done, though. And I took pics! It all started with a random mesage from...none other than Eruntalo's pwner! He says he wants to get back on, so we make the arrangements. HURRAY JACK'S BACK! ♥ That made me verrrrry happy. First order of the day was that I got Bard to 55! Hello~wello there, sexy Cobra Unit gear and Ballad II! I also managed to get my Mythril Star ∮ ∮ ∮ for Campaign service while workin on merits and Paladin. Hot. Anyway! Once 'Talo was back up and running, we all decided to try and fight Agas for the Sleepga II quest. We, uh, got our asses kicked. So we're gonna try and different setup later on. Thennn, Riibob and I went to fight the Bugaboo for my final Bard quest. We had to take out the Orcish Warlord first though, who was a stingy~wingy jerk and dropped nothing but a DRK testimony. Onto Bugaboo!
Needless to say, we pwned him good. I went back to Sandoria, got my cutscene, and completed the most beautiful story for AF yet. It was such an amazing story. And made me tear up a little~wittle!
I also went with a pickup group to do Operation Desert Swarm-- it was 5 BLM, and we pwned it hard. I didn't get any amazing drops, but it was fun anyway!
Annnnd...I think that was all I diddy~wid.
Riibob and Darkcow were wantin' to level up some 23-25 jobs (Rii's Dancerrr and Cow's alt., Bluemary), so I decided I'd join them with White Mage. We all got a level, with me hitting 27! It's anotherrr level I needed to get. We then decided to do a few Assault runs for points towards the next rank.
We did Golden Salvage, per usual. Quick and painless! Except that..the Chest refused to be quick and painless. It was always the last chest, on the hardest side, near the most fish. Thanks, Altana. lol. I also rrreceived my Sterling Star ∮ ∮ for campaign serrvice. Good stuff!

I got a fantastic party yesterday and got from 51 to 53 Bard! I also went out and hunted my Zvahl Coffer Key with 'Talo. It took us two hours, but we got it! It was some good farming in the meantime, so not bad. It was kind of interesting-- I fought for 2 hours with Carbuncle and Fenrir, but as soon as I used Garuda, the key dropped. It had been speculated about innate Job Abilities in avatars, so that made me a bit curious; she would have Treasure Hunter, but then again it could be a coincidency~wence. Then, this morning, I ran around looking for the coffer-- only took about 15 minutes to find, and off to Jeuno I went to find the crafter Borghertz. Once he informed me that he needed Shadow Flames to repair my gloves, Carbuncle and I were off to Xarcabard. In the meantime, we dropped the Star Ring into the Perinnial Snow to be purified. Then we made the trekk to Castle Zvahl, where we would fight Dark Spark (for my.....fourth time?).
Ifrit and I took him down in two Blood Pacts, but that's not to say I wasn't NER~VOUS for Self-Destruct-- that guy has a LOT of HP. But we took him down and headed back for town. Now I'm headed for a party to *hopefully* get 54! ♥

I managed to do the fastest Castle Oztroja Coffer hunt ever! There was no one there (shockingly) so Darkcow (WHM/NIN), Eru (also me; THF) and I (as SMN) scurried up to the top. Within 5-6 yagudo, I had a Coffer key and some new Bard songs! Since we were the o~nly ones there, I figured I may as well try to find the coffer and hurry back to test my luck-- it was up, just behind the Torch door. I teleported back, changed jobs, and within 15 minutes, I had my Choral Cannions!
It was a pretty lucky break. Now I just have to get a Zvahl Key & Coffer to finish up the hands quest and do the final quest. I also got Dancer to 11 and Corsair to 3! The 3 COR was to finish off a few hundred of an Empress Band~wand. lol. And I completed a merit, which I'm saving to couple up and upgrade Crit% or an ability. The Doll Festival 2008 has also begun! Once again, the towns are decked out in beautiful Sakura trees and traditional matsuri decor. This year, every adventurer got 2 furnishings for the Mog~House!
Just too cooly~wool.
Almost finished with another merrrit! It's quick and simple from doing Campaigns. And I rrreceived my Bronze Star ∮ of Service! At least I'm doing something effective while being lazy. :3

I finished getting 50 Bard and now I'm wearing my sexy Gaudy Harness! I'm in a party right now, and hopefully it turns out awesome~wowsome and I can get to 51. Can't wait for those pwnage HQ staves for Elegy and Lullaby. ♥ ** Well, the party sucked, and it took THREE HOURS, but I'm finally 51. So I've got my fancy~wancy staves and Blade Madrigal! Yeehaw. After leveling up, I decided to go work on my Choral Attire. First quest-- The Requiem. I was to take a vial of Holy Water to a sarcophagus that held a Bard of yesteryear and pay my respects. Darkcow elected to go with me, and so we set off for Beaucedine Glacier. Since I was a bit ahead, I decided to check for the Kirata NM, since his spawn area was on the way. He wasn't up, so Carbuncle and I ran around killing the placeholders-- the 2 Living Statues and the 2 Tundra Tigers. Darkcow caught up to us and started killing as well. Within 15 minutes, I see a HUGE tiger in the distance- lo and behold, it's Kirata! We claim (there were 2 other guys running around, so we were a little nervous), and take him down within a few minutes (that tiger~wiger has quite a chunk of HP!).
The Boreas Cesti drop! I insist that Cow take them, since his MNK can use em already, but he says we both lot, and I end up winning them. So, my level 12 MNK has a lv.30 weapon! lol. Back on track to the Bard's Sarcophagus. We make our way through the rest of Beaucedine, down through Batallia Downs, and finally to the Eldieme Necropolis area where the Bard eternally slept. Once we found the sarcophagus room, Carbuncle and I prepared for what was coming-- after trading the holy water to the correct tomb (it can be any of them (_(; ), three NM skeletons spawn- the Owl Guardian, Dog Guardian, and Yum Kimil. We run the 3 NMs to the zone, as it was a bit too dangerous to take on all 3 with my taru HP. Once we zone back, we start to take on the Dog Guardian. He goes down fairly easily with Mountain Buster and Hexa Strike.
As we head back to the sarcophagus, something starts casting Aeroga II-- Yum Kimil hadn't despawned! Oh well- he wasn't too hard either.
Once we had taken him down, I sang the requiem. The mysterious Bard appeared, and gave me something-- a Star Ring. I still don't know the reason for it yet, but I know I will soon enough. With that complete, I received my Choral Slippers! After receiving the Harmonious Hands quest, I decided to check which coffers I needed- Oztroja, Castle Zvahl, and Crawler's Nest. Crawler's Nest key: O! So I decided to run and look for a coffer. After searching the map with the majority of spawns (5 of 7), I had to run to the secret room map. And there it was! So I start to use my warp scroll, and open up the chest. Well..it didn't exactly work out that way. I received my Choral Roundlet, but the Rumble Crawlers didn't too much like me once I lagged out and didn't use my scroll. XD
So I traded one dead taru for a spoony bard hat- that's about equal? I deleveled, but went to Jugner (S) and got it back fairly quick. So! Now, I've got 2/5 armor Artifact pieces, and I still need to get the Zvahl and Oztroja keys, along with doing the final quest, The Circle of Time. ** Finished a merit! Good times!
I did severrral campaigns with Darkcow to get 55 Samurai! Now I've got an awesome Grip (Mythril Grip+1), and I'm wearing my Spike Earrings. Hotness! Dancer proved more useuful than ever being a sub for SAM- Meditate+Curing Waltz makes for an awesome campaign time. ☺ ** WOW! I just got 2,240 limit points in a Campaign! THAT is some sweet action. I'm planning to worrrk on character stats now.

I finally decided~wided to get back on the ball with Bard. In the past two days, I've gotten from 46 to 49! I'm excited to start swapping out my gear for the really good 50+ stuff. I've been working on upgrading my instruments too-- selling off NQ, getting HQ for more song buffs, etc. to try and be the best~y Bard I can. I also got my Cooking to 69.2 and counting! Annnnd I went and did a few Campaign with Darkcow's Bard and I've almost gotten another merit. I should be able to get my next Campaign rank..I'll have to go check. I've gotten a little done, and I'm pretty pleased. ** Got my Bronze Star ∮! And I'm 1500tnl to 50 Bard! Working on it in Campaign.
I leveled Dancer a little more, so I'm closer to 27. Vacious has been so busy that I've just chilled out forrr the time being. Let him do some of the work! ☺ ** I got into a short party as Samurai-- now I'm 5ooo til 55! Can't wait to be able to wear my pwnage earrings and new Mythril Strap+1. ♥

Just leveling up Scholar with the Empress Band I used for Dancer but then never leveled~weveled...it's like being a lv.5 BLM all over again! Hurray! I've been so pressy~wessed for time that I've only been able to mess around with small jobs....sigh.

We've all been so very lazy~wazy this week. Kiila and I are so~oo tired that we've just been relaxing around the Mog House with the rest of the gang. I did manage to get Bard to 46 while being lazily~wazily, though! I also worked on Cooking some today-- it's 68.8 now! Wo~nderful. I need to continue working on merits/Bard.. from the new update information, they *may* be gimping Campaign....which would make me a sad taru indeed, considering it was finally something quick and easy I would do for decent EXP in the short~wort time I have... ~_~

Well, I haven't gotten any levels lately, which I'm sad of, but I did manage to get a few thingy~wings done. Someone was shouting in Whitegate for Phomiuna Aqueducts subligars, so I decided to go along with them. I ended up having to play myself as BLM and 'Talo as RDM, but I did get my Ophiuchus Subligar for Bard~ward! Whoo. I'm about to dress up for Brygid and get my Gaudy Harness. One less thing to worry about on my way! I'm considering just leveling a low job for the rest of the day- I don't feely~weel like looking for party and all that. ** I reluctantly joined a Linkshell-mate's party after I said that- I stood there for an hour~wow-er before I just replaced myself..I don't believe in the "form a party of non-essentials and just stand there and wait for the essentials to pop" thing. So after dilly~dally~wallying around for a while, I went and farmed ingredients for more Pear Au Laits, got 68.5, and made Raisin Bread to turn in for Artisan Rank in Cooking! It's getting there! I still feel like leveling a little job..but what?
I got my Allied Ribbon of Glory ∮∮∮∮ today while rrrandomly checking around stuff! Hurrray for accidents!

I haven't done much~wuch in the past few days but relax and work on mer~its. I just completed another one, and I also got my Allied Ribbon of Glory ∮∮∮∮! I have 2 merits unused right now, and I'm thinking I may use them on a character attribute instead of a Job-specific one, since I'm not really using any of the merited abilities I have right now. And the SMN ones aren't really useful (THOUGH I will get them all anyway because I love SMN).. I just figure since I'm so pressed for time that it'd be besty~west to improve myself instead. So I think that will be 1*Critical Hite Rate and....Spell Interruption Rate. I think those will be useful for just about everything. ** I decided to try and skill up my cooking some, using the Cooking Guide by Paitre. I just got to 68.3 crafting Pear Au Laits. Now, I'm waity~waiting for it to rain in LaTheine....imagine that- waiting for rain in LaTheine...of course it's not raining when I need water crystal~wystals...

Oh~my! I've been really productive~wuctive in the past few days. Tuesday night, I got Bard from 40 to 42; Wednesday night, I got it to 44; tonight, I got it to 45! So I've been working hard~on~Bard! After my party, I had a hunch~wunch that Novv the Whitehearted might be up/up soon. Don't ask where I get the hunches- they seriously just hit me while I'm standing there (especially considering the NM has no set spawn time, or conditions, or placeholders...). So I gear up as Summoner, and Carbuncle and I head for Sea Serpent Grotto. After having to trek through Yhoator (how in the hell do I not have Yuhtunga's Outpost done?!) and killing Meww the Turtlerider with no drops (not even damned~wamned seaweed!), I finally make it. With my gold beastcoin in hand and Carby at my side, I make a race for the spawn spot. To my sadness, a RDM and WHM were already fighting Novv when I arrived, but I wearily asked anyway: (Bard) (Body) (Do you need it?) -- no response. Then, they repeat back to me: (Bard) (Body) (Do you need it?)! So I say (Yes, please.) and I'm invited to the party. It takes Ramuh 2 Chaotic Strikes to take Novv out, and THE COAT DROPS! (Note: I think the NM listing for Novv is wrong-- I did nowhere near 7,000 damage, more like 3,500~ to kill him.) The RDM and WHM let me have it!! They actually didn't intend to fight him-- they were trying to get a White Mage Testimony and, well, Novv tends to get right in the way. They wouldn't have killed him without me, so was fated to happen like that. I stayed around and helped them get a Testimony (we killed Yarr the Pearleyed too- didn't drop a damned thing!) and that took us about 45 minutes. Talky~walk about good fortune today! The Minstrel's Coat only has a 10-25% drop rate too! Thank you Altana for giving me some good luck and for such nice people helping!

People were right-- Jugner Forest (S) is uber for points. Campaigns started one after another, and I received 1000-2000 each time! Thus, I completed my 6th merit and got Invigorate- the only merits I'll be working on now are Crit% and the like. I kind of learned that I should develop character traits first and do Job Specifics second. Aw well. Hindsight is 20/20.

I so need to finish my subs...at least I got Dancer to 26! Otherr than that, I've been working on merits for Invigorate. Hurray for Campaign! I've learned that Jugner Forest (S) is the place to fight for Campaign points; a battle's almost always happening, and the mobs *seem* to be higher level thus they last longer thus morre exp! I also rrreceived my Allied Ribbon of Bravery ∮∮∮!
Carbuncle~wuncle and I decided to go back to our old spot for merit points. I learned an awesome new use for Sprinter's Shoes-- use em to scale the mountain of ice and snow! The effect wears off if you get aggro'd, which is a helpful indicator with so many~wany True Sight monsters out there. And it helps me book my taru~waru self through. I had one use left on my Anniversary Ring, and I used it....but I don't know if I want to go level a job super fast or try and finish a merit with it..hard to choose when you don't know what job to level... decisions~wisions.....

I have absolutely had my fill of people lately. I get a damned party as Bard and the leader is a complete douche bag for no reason to me. REALLY PISSES MY TARU SELF OFF. I'm there for maybe 10 mobs and they're like, "kleavingnow" so I say how it took me 20 minutes to get there, and I was only there for 10 mobs. She then goes on to say how emo I am and that I'm belly aching and they were killing better without me. Newsflash- I'm a fucking~wucking Bard, bitch. But no, someone else in Vana'Diel just wants to be a emofaggot for no reason. Oh well, another~wother blacklisted bitch for me. It's infuriating, I tell you.

Darkcow, Vacious and I were accepted into a new Linkshell yesterday-- Veritas. They do events, but they are currently mainly a chat LS while they rebuild their ranks from their leader quitting. They still do alliance-based stuff and KSNM/NM/etc., just no Dynamis and the like for now. Which, even so, a chat LS is a good thing to brrranch out with and make new friends. Some of the members and I went out and merited-- almost got a full one! We were stomping Mamool Ja at Nyzul Isle, but Gravity's daughterr woke up so they had to take off. We made about 8,700exp in less than an hour. It was pwnage. I'm working on finishing that merrrit in Campaign right now- that'll be two, which I'm debating either getting 1 Kick Attack % and one Crit %, or waiting one morre and getting Invigorate..decisions decisions. ** Finished that merit! Still dunno what to do thou~gh.
Yeehaw. I got Dragoon to 17 today! They're really strong-- I was soloing Tough-woughs and getting chain 4s! It was fun times for Himmelskralle and me.

I randomly managed to get Warrior to 32 today. After being kind of unhappy~wappy with Vana'Diel, I've decided to set up some objectives. I'm not unhappy because of Vana'Diel, it's just that my time is so limited, I end up wasting it worrying with what to do. It's absurd. So, let's makey~wake a list...

I'm considering Dragoon, but I'm gonna feel out all of the options by leveling subs, just see what hits me.

Afterrr being too indecisive to be effective, I just went to it and leveled Samurai. I got it to 54! ... before deleveling while trying to get my Myochin Domaru. Stupid frrreaking Tonberries...oh well. I'm waiting forr Campaign to start, so I can hopefully get my level back and but those sexy pants back on. In other news, I attained my Brass Ribbon of Service ∮∮! Hurray! I need to make surre I'm checking in every 5ooo exp or so to get the next Service Medal. ** In an update, I got 54 back in a crappy party where I had to tank... ** I was sad to spend 3 hours of my time waiting for a Destrroyers BCNM run to start, when everyone left the party. It was lame as hell and made me pissed off at the damned drop. But I did buy a Brown Belt for myself, after all this time. :X
