Well i dont think of my self as goth more in to fetish crap and I know I don't want to be a fucking vampire,but I know damn well I am not a freakin EMO cause i go to work pay my bills have lots lots lots and lots of sex and i got a beautiful G/F i got nothing to cry about... and yes EMO gurls rule myspace... and yes EMU is a bird and why do we care what emo is??

Actually Emo is about the music. Somewhere along the way someone labeled this genre of music with a style of clothing. Emo music is stuff like Dashboard Confessional, My Chemical Romance, The Used, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Jimmy Eat World. It started in the early 90's and didn't get big until around 2000. Basically just stuff like music about being depressed and not getting the girl you want. It became popular more of crowds of single guys that have been hurt or dumped by their girlfriend and they're having trouble letting go and move on. Most Emo boys have swoops hair that covers their face or one side of their face and eye or spiked in the back and bangs covering their eyes usually dyed jet black. It's just a movement like punk but it's more whiney. I guess you can say i'm sort of an emo kid. Most of them wear tight girl pants and small shirts with weird crazy designs and studded belts, black converse shoes, Lip Piercings, Black Glasses, Plugs, Nautical and Black star tattoos. So it's like the preppy version of Punk except emo kids bathe more often but still have greasy hair. Also black rimmed glasses are considered emo. Why? I'm not sure but people call the black plastic glasses emo these days.
It's sort of a weird phase and a lot are bi I guess because they're accepting of everyone's feelings or girls think it's hot so they make out with other guys just to pick up girls. Why? I have no idea. They tend to be way to emotional but they look pretty hot. I'm gay so I wouldn't know. I'm sure a lot of emo kids get made fun of picked on by other guys but a lot of girls are nice to me usually I guess because they think emo boys look cute and pouty? I'm not into girls but they seem to like emo boys because of the style I suppose and they're so shy and quiet.
But with emo boys painting nails and coloring their hair and crap i'm not trying to be mean but emo kids do not wear that. Only flaming homosexuals dress like that.
