I was feeding my homunculus Scells like it needed(it was level 50 and looked like a green and yellow blob) and it's status went Hostile->unfriendly->Hostile and then it dissapeared, it's hunger meter was at 100% though. When it dissapeared another homunculus appeared in it's place, the one that uses Moonlight(I forget their original names, sorry) and it was back down to level 1. I dont mind raising another homunculus, but I would have preferred to have continued on with the one I had. Can anyone tell me what could have caused this?

My homunculus' status downgraded while being fed

it vanished even though it wasnt starved at level 50

and another homunculus automatically appeared in its place at level 1

I in no way am expecting to have my homunculus restored but I would at least like an explanation of what might have happened if at all possible.
