I have a few machines laying around here I could run a server on pretty easilly. But I need some info as far as requirements.

I've only got about 356k upload (thats like 30kb/s). The machines I have are between 233-500 Mhz with around 300 Mb of ram and plenty of harddrive space. They are extras and can run all the time, but I don't think there is much point in running a server that can only support 4 or 5 people lag free. But I don't know. Give me your thoughts...

EDIT: I just got a Pentium 3 1Ghz machine. I'm going to get xp running on it and do the server setup. I just hope my upload rate isn't too crappy!

the CPU is a bit small (i'd recommend around 700 Mhz at least), but It's always worth a try nonetheless.

rofl you might want to get a better connection than that...like atlesat a 3MBs down and 3MBs Up, and if you want it good then get a 6MBs connection.

ide say the minimum requirments are

1. 2.0 Ghz CPU
2. 10 free GB's of HDD space 7,200 RPM
3. 512 DDR PC2100 RAM
4. 3 MBps download and 3,000 KBps upload


Best requirements

1. 3.2 Ghz CPU
2. 10 free GB's of HDD space 10,000 RPM
3. 2 GB's DDR PC4000 RAM
4. 6 MBps download and 7,000 KBps upload

Well, I've got a P3 1.0 Ghz w/ 256MB ram that is ready. I may only be able to support 10 users, but I'm willing to give it a shot if you are.

I'll download AOL or YIM or whatever when i get home and try to PM CM.

EDIT: I need a server name. I never watched/played chrono trigger. I am kind of an anime noob. (I love anime movies, but haven't watched alot of TV shows).
