Supposedly there aren't any actual 3D models in the game and they are generated on the fly.
It's sheduled for release Q4 of this year.

If you paid attention, the "world" is created as it goes, I think wright called it "procedual creation." The actual file would only be a few kilobytes at max.
If you don't get it, think of it this way: the save file is simply a template for which your computer will grow upon.
