Well, it seems to me that for the most part, that the older qr veterans want lower rates and possibly a wipe. While some of the newer (within a year or so, around there) and players that have returned for the most part like the way it is as of now. So now that we all know the obvious, how do you solve something like this? Well personally, I myself do not play the game to PVP or see if I can beat people at a game. More or less what my goal is to collect and like, I guess to just make my characters look cool =P. I mean, I do have quite a few high level characters, but not that I âreallyâ tried hard to get them (except my sniper, that was a pain), and so the only thing I would really complain about is my item collection (not really the god items or good equips, mainly the headgears and hats that I have collected.), I would really hate to have to do all those quest's again. If there was a wipe, I would probably hang out for a little bit longer, but not really do anything other than sit in town. So that's my stance.
Now here's an idea though. CM constantly states that he really doesn't want to do a wipe, the only reason he would, would be because of a worst case scenario. So here's my input on the âhigh rate/low rateâ topic. What if the rates fluctuated? Like one week it's the âregularâ rates that we are used too, and then the following week it's lower rates. It is an odd idea and I'm not sure what CM thinks of it. However, it would keep the new players happy by giving them the same opportunities as us, while the older players have the option of leveling a character and gathering items on the lower rate week. It doesn't even really need to be every other week, CM could make it less often or more often (like every day, or every month). But if it were every day CM would have to constantly change it, unless he comes up with some way to do it automatically. So what do you guys think about that?
*NOTE* I just talked to CM, along with him would having to change the rates manually, he would prefer a singular rate on which we could all agree on. Though I thought it was a nice try...
