i had logged into slash to play, of course...internet went down when my dad tried dialing into a client, when it came back up, i tried to log in to slash...worked for a few times, then left the server, and upon coming back, immediately after the character select thing, where it loads the map and such, it errors me....

It could've been that PVP was on wherever you loaded into and someone loaded in after you. [I actually don't know why, but that sounds like a reasonable answerish?] After all, I'm assuming you have the latest updates, etc.

i do. and....i was out in the middle of nowhere, at least 2 maps away from any point you can warp to including all towns and dungeons, and no gms were on....

lol bloodworth...stop ussuming so many things...their close but not completely on track!
I've completely reinstalled mysql and downloaded the newest client for servers...and well i wasn't sure how to save the save files.................so i just transverd them over to the new mysql...manually...so i'm thinking/wondering if thats y everyone is getting errored...hopefully cm knows how to fix it...and hopefully i won't have to char wipe.....i think there might have been another way to save the save files, hoping that cm can clarafy....ITS SO HARD TO GET AHOLD OF HIM HE"S SO BUSY!!!....

IF there is a char wipe, i have a back up of the save files! ALL the save files. so either
1. transfer those to the host
or
2. i have a record of what people have. i can send the GM team a copy in excel(?) format... or actually word. anywise from that people could give their char name to a GM and reclaim their stuff.
