[B]Alright. I admit it . I am not a true gamer, or maybe this game is just to hard. I got all the way to the part where you battle the lynx and I get it down to 100 hp. It fires the cannon, I can't heal due to a lack of magic points, and I get destroyed right before I destroy it.
If anyone has an answer to my problems or any rantings about this game please post them.

another good rpg,which is only $9 @ walmart is Evolution worlds. If you like epic struggles between an evil empire and a hero nad his friends(FF 7,FF 8)
then you'll love this game.It is like a never ending game.After you beat the 1st story and the second story,you can restart and play again, only with a new story again!!!

I know what you're talking about in Skies of Arcadia. I got stuck there myself (so did one of my friends) So I restarted the game (as painful as that sounds) and at the last town before you go into the pyramid dealy, I bought 80 repair kits :huh:

. Yes, 80. Now, those 80 repair kits lasted me for the entire rest of the game, but you can never be too careful.

My recommendation? If it isn't too much trouble, restart and stock up on repair kits ^_^

it worked for my friend too.

I'm "the friend" he's talking about. Skies of Arcadia rocks. and yes i did get stuck there. And yes i did restart the game and yes i was pissed off about it. But it worked! I was much stronger the second time around, and i kicked Lynx's ass! The funny thing though, after I beat that part of the game, i didn't want to go any farther. I think i played too much. :huh:

Lesson for today? Take your SoA in short doses, and healing items are your friends.

Could I just train my character Aika up until she has high mp, and then use her as the healing source?

Fina is a better healing source than Aika. All this talk of this game makes me want to play it again...

And to answer your question Ultimus, Skies of Arcadia is an awesome RPG that isnt very well known. It was originally for Dreamcast, but then was ported to Gamecube with better stuff in it. Definitely worth trying.

One of the things I like best about SoA is the airship battles ^_^

. And yes, Fina is better for healing. Aika is better for...I don't really know. She doesn't have a purpose, I guess (except to have really-powerful-looking but-totally-useless special attacks).

ok! I am going to train up Fina alot until she hits the healing level and then I'll use her.I made it to the second round of Harpoon cannon so far against the lynx, but I still get killed on the first round of that battle.
