I don't think those items will be allowed to be restored, because a GM has given it to you
you will not only need a screeny, but the identity of the GM who gave that to you and also he/she must give permission for you to keep it. secondly the "event" that led to you recieving this item

This is true... This is why Sizzle is not welcome for re-admission for GMhood on Ozzie. Also, I retract any recommendates that I gave to him.

Also... Anyone lugging any god items around with a GM name on it. You get the reward of loss of zeny restore and items that you took.

i don't think any items given out by "ex-GMs" should be restored. by the way, solar god helm is technically considered a god item, since the quest is in louyang. suroki cards should also not be restored, since the only people that can kill baphomets or pharaohs (or even mayas) are GMs and gm-made chars (currently anyway), unless of course, it's from an event, in which case the gm must confirm this.

um dope...solar gods helm isnt in the quest at louyang o.O its a creamhilt item i think.

it is (or was) a quest in louyang, but one of the castles drop them too. it required an emblem of solar god, some gold and other msc items...

oh yeah, and even if they are allowed to give out megingjards, please don't refine them. once you reach 100 equip def, you'll only receive damage from crits, asura, occult, magical attacks, ice pick and other weapons that ignore def. you'll receive 1 damage from all neutral normal attacks and be immune to all elemental neutral attacks.

that's the funny thing about Armor Defense
too bad.. refining equipments doesn't give a FULL point of defense anymore

Solar God Helm was NEVER considered a God item
God items are overstating equipments, even though it looks nice, it's still a normal equipment which can be outmatched by a bunch of other carded headgears

100 Armor Def - (Base Attack+Bonus Attack)- [(Armor Defense)%-(Vit Defense)]

Vit Defense as I explained to David is approximately 2-4 physical damage

it would take about 1000 magic defense to take one damage from all magics, too bad there's always next year

anything with the name BONGUN should be deleted
any ACCESSORY with a +10 should get the player banned for cheating (This happened so many times last year, it's like owning a black lotus card)
Any FOOTWEAR with +10 should get you banned
Any Very Very Very (Elemental) equipments should also get you banned (this is also the same kind of cheating)

refining gives 2/3 of an armor def; and last time i checked, shoes, boots, greaves, sandals, etc were all refineable. i think each vit def reduces 1 damage. nothing is said about mdef, since there's no way to reach 100 mdef, you'll only be immune with a gtb.
