Or also dark elves sounds rad, and the combo class idea is great too, like select one predominate class, and then a minor, so you could be like a Paladin (warrior-whitemage combo) or dark elves could be an elven-necro/undead combo. That kinda thing.

Also, this deals with races - not classes. That is in a different topic.
A few settings of the game will perhaps help out:
the game will allow you to time travel a bit, so you will be able to go to present, past, future, and whatnot. So yes, Androids, Cyborgs, etc. are already thought of being high possibilites.
