Save that money for something really useful like... more RAM for your PC or pay the bills/debts that are lurking behind you. For all that is HOLY don't buy it, you will regret it. Its almost the samething as buying a gameboy advance at the same time SP came out. Hold that thought for later, save the money you have work your ASS off and make something good come out of it.

The is no spending when it is something that is needed.

Those who spend on useless items get the worse punishment of all... UPGRADES (based on Compaq computers)

One piece of advice: Sell the PSP and it's games, go out and but a DS, and finally, get games for it. The PSP will die before the mighty power of the Nintendo DS. Nuff' sed!

I think psp is great, it can store pictures and stuff, you can view movies too and listen to music.

I heard it only costs about $200 in Japan. ^_^

played it, 250$ us dollars, eeh typical crappy ps games, though ive seen good reviews of upcoming games, in my opinion DS is better, it is a n64 handheld...and pretty revolutionary technology (revolution next christmas btw), id get it if it wasnt so damn expensive and if it had better games

but i am a nintendo die hard....

fear the revolution!

I plan to get a PSP. They seem to better than a DS. A PSP -- I heard -- has PS2 graphic qualities, a built Wi-Fi, and 1.something gigabyte memory on it for storing music and video files.

Not only do I not buy Sony hardware in particular, I normally tell others not to, of course.

Anyway, for three reasons I'm not getting one besides the fact it is a Sony system:
1. Battery Life is terrible - with a fully charged battery, it only lasts approximately 2.5 hours while watching a movie - that means if you play a game for a bit then watch a movie, your batteries are probably gone ;)

2. Returns - around 6% have retuned their PSPs. The reason why? Bad buttons and the such. Sony wanted their screen to be huge - that's fine, but they crammed the buttons in there and refused to make the handheld any larger (even 1/2 an inch would have done); their neglect in resizing it made a few of the buttons hard to respond and break easier.

3. Price - Who the hell would pay $250 for a handheld?? Heck with a handheld, a console, even. The most I would pay for a console is $200, a handheld $150 or so - I think it's crazy with the price - it's $250 for just the system, too, not to mention games and memory cards... -_-

But yes, I am sticking with my Nintendo DS.
When the revolution launches, it will be WiFi and will play GameCube games; it's WiFi will also work with the Nintendo DS so you can play friends world-wide (they mentioned Animal Crossing in that matter).

PSP OWNS!!! I got one and its the most orgasmic thing ever! my brother has a DS and PSP rapes it up the ass. It can do everything people say, im actualy listening to some mp3s on it as i type this. its expencive, but my GOD is it worth it. and if you pay just like $30 more, if it ever breaks you get a free new one!! BUY THIS OR YOUR A FAG! lol jkjk but it is really good. Is that metal gear game any good? i heard it was a card game and that turned me off. So i got dark stalkers instead.

tsuki read the small print, 30$ for two months of it breaks from malfunctions (not user) if its in good condition, and you don't get all of ur money back :D

Vivi's getting PSP.. for a few minor reasons.. I'd like a DS but... I need to replace my MD-player, plus I'm interested in upcoming PSP games.. I want a Megaman PSP game to come out already! Or.. Harvest Moon.. If DS comes out with nice Harvest Moon games.. I'll throw away my PSP for a DS. Surfing the web is nice.. I wanna not wear out my PSP... I dunno if DS has the same battery system as GBA-SP.. Not very sure... I haven't played Nintendo games for a long while now... I'm pretty rusty.. I did start to play Donkey Kong Country 3 on my SNES.. man the buttons seem so small.. So I go with CM when he said PSP buttons are.. tiny and puny. Well.. Movies.. and pictures.. I dislike the movie idea unless! We're in like a hotel were we can steal electricity. Besides that, the movies gotta be nicely compressed down.. so I assume.. it's not gonna be fun to watch.
