PS2 Price Drop?

Does anybody know if the rumor is true? I heard that it's going to be dropped to $99 sometime in November.

I severely doubt that. Sony is always money-hungry. The price will drop probably $10-$20 at most.
For example, look at any MMORPG sponsored by Sony - the prices are enormously high (approx $15/month for EverQuest).

Sony always makes there prices real high..they cost more then they are worth

The poll is true that sony will drop the PS2 price to 99$
I already heard there are countries where they are selling the PS 2 for the price. At my place it costs 25000 HUF and i bought it for 86000 HUF so u can see the difference between the price .
but i think it doesnt contain a controller and a game.
