Hey man you're no better.

Anyways, the stingray got his heart, which doesn't normally happen, and when he pulled it out he had like a heart attack and died from it. If he had been stung in the arm, leg, or pretty much anywhere else he would've been perfectly fine.

Stingray's are not suppose to be aggressive, he maybe was playing and trying to scare the poor thing so yeah he got stab. OWNED! i must say lmao, he died because of the pain and knowing the sting has venom too.

Yes, it is quite a sad thing. I mean, it sucks how he died, the fact that this was the 18th death by a stingray ever recorded is just wierd enough, but everybody was expecting him to get killed by a crocodile. Apparently he was shooting a documentary and was swimming above the stingray, the cameraman was in front of them and it's guessed that the stingray felt boxed in and stuck Steve with it's stinger, which punctured his heart. It was purley accidental, and I do believe all Steve was doing was swimming along with the stingray. The puncture to his heart was the main cause, but it does have some toxins. It is really sad though, he was a great conservationist, as well as entertainer, he will be missed.

The undeadly toxins of the stingray didn't kill him, the fact that the barb went through his freaking heart did.

he probably would have lived if he didn't rip it out like a moron.

I have to admit that is a badass way to die, ripping out a barb from your heart.

I also expected him to die because of a crocodile. I guess everything in life isn't always the way you think it is...uh that didn't make sense anyways. May Steve rest in peace

@Skemp - I dont think i should wait for professional people to take the barb out of my heart, the moment it gets in there i would take it off right away cuz the stingray might rattle and cause more damage. Yeah that was really a badass way to die.
