lol, you guys are funny.

NASCAR gets bad reputations because it SEEMS like there's nothing to it.

If you ever step inside one of those cars, you'll see just how f**king tough it is, both physically and mentally.

1) believe it or not, those cars go f**king fast. they average 250 mph. Do you have any idea what that feels like? of course not. its not possible for you to comprehend that speed (street racers dont even touch that mark, and unless you're on a professional course, you won't get near there). Have you guys gone on a rollercoaster before? Guess what, avg speed on those are 50 mph tops. SO, you're barreling down a street at 250 mph. Guess what? YOU CANT BREATH IF YOU AREN'T PHSYICALLY FIT. THE G's (force of gravity) PRESSED AGAINST YOU IS SO HARD, YOU'LL BE LUCKY IF YOU CAN TWITCH YOUR NECK, MUCH LESS LEAN FORWARD AND ACTUALLY DRIVE.

2) Now, as Kirk so kindly added, these guys drive for 200+ laps. Do you guys hate long road trips? well, imagine how much pain these guys are in, driving for MILES AFTER MILES, ALL GOING AVG 250 MPH. Like i said, NASCAR drivers are athletes, even more so than typical athletes because of the mental strain on them as well.

That's enough rant for today. NASCAR is a sport. End of story.

Moron no NASCAR driver drove 250 MPH ever! in circular courses, last time i heard the fastest was 173 or something (not sure) , when you drive through the course you need to lower your speed upon turning through curves to avoid drifting that could result a mean ass tire explosion and you might lose your control over the steering wheel, so NASCAR never had stable or permenent speed. About rollercoasters in Cedar Point Ohio they have this one called Dragster that does about 120 mph, about drag racing? my friend did 190 mph on the freeway.

NASCAR sucks D1 PRIX rules!

They have laminated safety glass for thier windshield, the door windows yeah they are nets made out of garter, they dont worry much about the "G Force" cars are aerodynamic.

250 is max, average is 150-200. You got me there.

Btw, i was talking about legal driving. No one with LEGAL car modifications can go beyond the 200 mark. Drag racing is indeed hard, if not harder.

About that rollercoaster, i assume youre talking about max speed, right? 120 miles in an open rollercoaster w.o. proper attire = someones gonna die.

introducing the Bugatti Veyron, top speed 254mph out of factory kit, and yes its street legal

@kirk
drifting is intentional when it isn't it's called fishtailing and/or oversteer and thats what those drivers try to avoid, and it dont matter if they drift they still go in for tire changes so stop ranting about stuff your obviously dont know about

LMAO i Kirk dont know what im talking about? do you even drive? NASCAR drivers never tend to drift you idiot, in NASCAR your target is to avoid hitting pits so much cuz you will lose track position, and fuck when they oversteer they dont drift cuz if you oversteer and drift youll end up fishtailing or your car will even spin around, though theres a away to quickly get your control back, you have to do a "rev matched" thats by doing the driving technique called "heels and toe" you downshift while braking, NASCAR cars are purely motor and too much downshifting waste more gas so thats another critical thing for you to be in the pits again. Damn nice car looks like the bat mobile lol.

they cant drift cuz one drift means its controlled and because of the tires they use (slicks) they cant drift if cuz their tires dont have enough grip

Are you still talking about NASCAR? slick tire are now being used by drag racers, NASCAR preffer better cornering tires. Actually they have different kinds of tires for different kinds of track conditions.

Atleast Mario Karts is fun, NASCAR gets boring after 15 to 20 minutes of watching.
