Movies

Starting a new thread so we don't have to spam Gray's welcome back.

GI Joe - I found it horribly entertaining.

District 9 - Smart film, unique. Not like anything I've seen before. I would strongly recommend go seeing it.

Inglorious Bastards

Oh man just went to the premier. Man, leave it to Quentin Tarantino to appeal to my petty taste for violence. This movie is just a blood bath, plain and simple. Full of dark comedy, EXTREMELY DARK. Brad Pitt is just hilarious, his acting is amazing. Not a film for people with quesy stomaches.

(Sorry late reply)

I can't wait to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie, although I perfer the book over the movie. I liked it when it had no real reason why food just drops from the sky. D:<

I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but there wasn't much of a use for the 3d glasses if they only have the effects first 15 mins of the movie. Also, whats the point if I sat close to the front ;_;..

I can't believe the 3D fad is back. Sorority Row, The Final Destination, A Christmas Carol etc. Hilarious!

Going to take the girlfriend to see "9" next Monday. (She doesn't visit this forum so I am not worried about spoiling her surprise :P) I have heard mixed comments from my friends about this one, though. Comments about a lack of character development but a lot of "was very cool and pretty" so I am unsure.

Also, please don't tell her I am taking her, it's a surprise

I thought 9 was a good movie. Quite an interesting story/plot to the film. Great animation. 5 would have to be my favorite character. Thank you John C. Reilly! Followed by 7.
I liked it!

Saw Astro this morning and it was great. I got to say the action scenes were really nice. Animation was superb for being 3D.

So.....yeah, I liked it.
