Microsoft will soon be releasing the Zune. This supposed "iPod Killer" will feature a 30 GB Hard Drive, a 3" wide-screen display, a FM tuner, and wireless transfer - meaning you can send music or pictures to your friends (the music you transfer to them is only good for 3 days, though). Rumors have been flying about that Microsoft will begin to make games for the Zune for a handheld platform.

The release date for the Zune is officially November 14th, 2006, but the price is still being rumored to be anywhere from $220 to $300. Walmart has listed the Zune as approximately $250.

My opinions on this are that I'm going to wait until the new iPod comes out and compare the cost and features between the two.

i like the whole wireless transfer thing, even though they're trying to prevent pirating by deleting said songs within 3 days.

But that means my friends will have to have zunes too, and some of them are steve job worshippers.

ipod got seniority over it and you know apple isnt gonna sit quitly and let this premire w/o any other new produces
