well i want to upgrade my videocard this friday. but i found something not right with my moderboard. first of 1 year ago i brought my pc. just brought it that all. so no motherboard book or anything just plain computer with the drivers. next yesterday i was searching for my M/B things. like how many RAm i can have and my agp port. well i downloaded softsandra so i knew at least somestuff. it says manufacturer ECS but the model. the damn model is m925 it just says that. i search in theyr webpage and no clue of that model. finaly i found a webpage with my moderboard picture and aspects. and i found out something cool. i have a celeron 1.7 first of my bios says that the prosesor is a Pentium 4 and is running at 800mhz. second the model i found in a webpage IT SAYS THAT IN COMPATIBLE WITH PENTIUM 4 it doest say anything about copatibility with celeron.. im very confuse cuz the picture is the same as the motherboard i have but softsabdra doesnt say anything about the model full name and the name of the motherboard i found i that webpage is m925 LX i don tknow if softsandra skiped the lx but the weird thing is runing with a celeron and not a pentium....... and yes windows reconise that isa celeron not a pentium

Usually motherboards that are compatible with Intel's Pentium 4 can handle Intel's Celeron, since the Celerons are (bluntly) crappier than the Pentiums. Namely, it's backwards-compatible.

Like I have an Asus A7N8X which can Support AMD Bartons (I use an AMD Barton 2800+ @ 2.08 Ghz). It also, though, can use AMD Athlons, since they are older than the Barton.

thanks dude. then my pc is ok. well now i hope that the videocard im gettng tomorow suport x4 then ill have to buy nothing......
