All of the new server programs that come out will be located here. They will include the necessary files.
Step 1. Extract all of the server files and overwrite your old server files with the new ones (yes, even the configuration files).
Step 2. Reconfigure your configuration files (the files in the /conf/ directory; If you don't know how, consult the server-making guide).
Step 3. Open a command prompt and type this in:

cd C:\mysql\bin
mysql -uroot -pyour_password < C:\qrROServer\MySQL_update_from_0.40_to_0.52.sql
- Make sure you replace C:\mysql\ with where you have installed MySQL
- Make sure you replace your_password with the password you are using for MySQL.
- Make sure you replace C:\qrROServer\ with where you have extracted the server files.
- Make sure the MySQL_update... file is appropriate to what version you are upgrading from and to. (In the example, it is upgrading from 0.40 to 0.52.
And, amazingly, that's it!
All you have to do is run the server like normal now.

REMEMBER!!!: You are NOT allowed to change NPCs (besides their location), Starting Zeny, or EXP Rates.
You are allowed to change the MOTD.txt, though.
