Heard the playstation 3 was supposed to play ALL discs from PS1 to Xbox.

Would like to know if its true and if they could GIVE IT TO ME!! I WANT IT!! NOW!! Whew. I'm fine now, sorry. sorry.

PS3 will not be able to play XBOX games:
Reason 1. They'd be sued
or
Reason 2. They'd be bought out :lol:

Plus, it is bullcrap that they'll make a "master system."

Too many companies would be suing their asses <_<

The only different system that was made was Panasonic (I think). They made a custom GameCube that plays the GameCube games and also plays DVDs; I'm pretty sure Nintendo gave them permission to use the abilities to read GameCube games or they would have gotten pissed off really fast. ^_^

Anyway, I hope next-gen systems will all be backwards-compatible, since it gears more people to buy them, knowing their older games can be played on them (another reason to add on why PCs will always be better than consoles, but that consoles are still fun

PS3? o_O I obviously am not imformed on this *Scratches hair in confusion* I like the PC because you get a big variety of great games and such..I hate consoles because a game you want either comes on one you dont have or games that you dont even like comes onto the one you own...and then it changes the other way around...Thats why I stick the gamecube because Nintendo Makes alot of Kiddie games which are my favorite ^____^. Hopefully it doesnt get something that looks like Doom 3 >___<

to what aphina just said thats why you do what i do you get them all and then you have no worrys about what game comes out on what console cause then you have them and the ps3 is rumored to be as powerful as 6 ps2 running as 1, Also another rumor is that they are making a whole new chip and that i thinkn it was ibm or something like that who is making the chip for them...
Plus if you would like to know SCEA and SE (which are all sony by the way) are getting together to make a system called psx (i think thats what it is scratches his brain) that plays dvds, ps2, and maybe ps1 games but will not use any of the memory cards it uses flash cards also it will have a 160gb hard drive and a built in ether net port so it can go on the net and link with other comps (oh yeah the one thing it has a DVDr/CDr drive in it and the real important part is it will cost maybe in the range of :w00t:

RuRi can afford it, right? I've been to his house. He owns 3 different systems that are currently out. And he doesn't even play with them. Hehehe. I see him on the computer all the time. His GameCube and X-Box are currently under a pile of junk. :lol:

That pile of junk mind you is dvds, video games (for all systems), and manga so yeah nub...
And as i was saying i dont know if i want that new psx system seems like a waste of money i rather just get a hdtv haha 60" oh yeah starts to see the light hehe ^^"..

Holy crap Alphina buy it for me and i will pay you back yeah i will put the money in your account cause here it cost $300.00 its the same price as my nokia camera phone so i said a camera comes in handy more than a game since i carry my gb sp with me all the time and i dont even use it no more that much really...

Yeah but that was the price when it launched now its down to $200.00 but i still not going to get it cause i still see no use for i i have a GBAsp and a iPod so i see no use in owning one at least i know i dont many other might i was thinking about getting it when i first heard of it but now that i see i dont need it... :wacko:
