Just need someone to confirm if its okay to install kRO this way, because when i try to install kRO, computer sends a security warning and basically says its not safe to install the program. And its all gibberish when your on the installation part, i dont trust gibberish :-/

Yeah it shouldnt be a problem, Windows XP or greater always does that type of verify with none Microsoft Licensed products, my old Anti-Virus software even found one of Kro's downloaded RGZ files as a virus <.<

another question , will qrRO work great with Vista? because im upgrading next week, a long time ago there were problems with compatibility with ME's and 98's with the qrRO client w/c was made for XP, if you remember, CM should probably be the one to answer this

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T UPGRADE TO VISTA!!!

If you do I'll make a very...very long post on how to get qrRO to 'sort of' run on it. As well as other things... Anyways uh...yes, that's because there is a key-logger program in the kRO installer which is picked up by most anti-virus programs. In reality it's harmless and Windows is just making sure you trust your source.

my bro has a laptop thats windows vista and it sux like shit! not to many softwares are compatible thats why..

alright, i'll postpone the Vista upgrade till everything is clear, one more thing , can anyone send me they're Sakkray folder or atleast give me another link in dl'ing kRO Sakkray?(though sending it would be nicer

) only one link works on the qrRO site, but im not even sure if it does because it stops halfway thru the dl not to mention that its really slow

and yes kevin i will be blaming you so i can have an excuse to

well the link works, thanks , but Sakkray doesn't patch completely, it says its unable to download a certain file

Does the Patcher error or just fail to get the file? and if so what file(s) and what date files? 2006 or 2007? or below.

i made my current folder from older 1010 clients, and the clients errored on some of the larger files.

If its just an error let the patcher keep running, it patches error or not

And like I said if all else fails I can just AIM / Yahoo my folder to you, but that may take awhile, and i could break it down and send it in smaller chunks.
The .grf and Palettes would be the largest

it fails to download a certain file, the June 2007 files i think, i forgot what it called but its definitely those files, i already have the rest downloaded except those so you dont have to send me your entire folder, just need to figure out what files im missing

It would probably be easier to send my whole folder minus some larger files which i can send seperatly. also minus Emblems & Screen Shots

I know mine works, so this would be easier than guessing over and over and trial and error.

whenever is fine with me, im on right now and ill be on for 7-8+ more hours so whichever you got AIM / Yahoo, click my forum name for my AIM / Yahoo, im only on AIM right now though

aside from doing it by hand im not much help for patching problems
