I have fully patched Iro, Sakray, and qrRO, but when I start the game, and click on the "qrRO" selenction, I end up getting booted with this error message-------

ive got same errors too. since its vacation here in the philippines i want to play again but i guess i cant because of the errors.

can anyone help me how to patch things up. thanks

Im having a very similar error at the same point, after selecting to connect to the qrRO server. I have everything fully patched so i dont know why there would be a problem. Im using RagLite though, not iRO. Apparently its supposed to come with a data.grf file which (im guessing) gets updated with sakray or something, no idea, all i know is i dont see any data.grf >_> . Anyway supa is sending me his updated version of data.grf so hopefully that will fix the problem.

If this fixes the problem ill let you know and try to get this data.grf to you if you need it.

[Edit] No luck. the new data.grf file didnt fix anything.
Does anybody have any ideas? i'd love to see how qrRO has changed over the years, and to see if anyone remembers me of course lol. [/EDIT]

Been trying to fix this all day...not sure what else to try... ive already tried:
1. Repatching and reinstalling countless times.

2. Fully updated sakray before installing qrRO

3. Fully updating sakray before installing qrRO and editing the .ini so it doesnt update sakray

4. Installing sakray, raglite, and qrRO wtihout updating, then updating both with the qrRO client.

5. Using supa's data.grf

6. Running in compatability mode.

and probably a whole lot of other variations of such, with absolutely no luck.

If anyone could give us a little help here, it'd be greatly appreciated.

you need to use kRO or Ragnarok Lite; either works.
After that, you need kRO Sakray - yes, the KOREAN SAKRAY, not the English one.
Once that's complete, snag the newest qrRO Patcher and install that to the ragnarok directory (hit 'yes to all' if it asks to overwrite anything).
Then simply run qrRO.exe and it will attempt to patch qrRO and afterwards, you are able to run qrRO.

If you obtain any errors, let me know - it might be linked to old character data.

Yup, tryed all that

All the letters are in korean in the sakray client, so im guessing i have the korean version...

Im using the newest version of the qrRO client, and ive let it update fully...

Raglite Version: 1010

kro Sakray Version: 0103

Any other ideas let me know.

the "korean letters" or something in the update process means kRO Sakray might be complaining about patches or such - try opening the qrRO.ini and removing the section referencing kRO Sakray.

After that, save and close the file and re-run qrRO.exe. If it works then, it's kRO Sakray's server-side causing the problem.

Tried it, didnt work, im not getting any errors during the update process, only after starting the game, and selecting qrRO from the server list.

No idea whats wrong, been trying to fix it for hours now.

Right now im re-dl'ing sakray, maybe my dl got corrupted or something, no idea. ill let you know in 3 hrs 15 mins >_>

Re-dl'ing sakray didnt help, same exact error.
No idea whats going on, i just tried qrRO v450 to see what would happen, no change, same problems...

If anybody could help me out here, or at least give me some ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Im going to go try to re-dl RagLite, then search some forums, maybe someone else had the same problem....

Gunslinger, have you been able to fix it? If not, ill help you out when i get it working right. If you have, an explanation of what you did exactly would be really nice.

Finally fixed it by installing the newest version of RagLite v0313, if you cant find it anywhere let me know ill send it to you.
