If you were Christen, then the point of easter is was the day that Jesus rose from the grave after 3 day of getting nailed onto a cross.

thanks for mispelling "Christian" even though you don't realize how offensive that is -_-

anyways... Easter for Jewish is "Passover"
and for Christians it's the day Jesus ascended from the dead

Good Friday was the day he died

however... since the fact that his death was unknown
only three facts remain... he died on a Friday, he rose on a Sunday and it happened in April

It might have happened earlier... (Roman Calendar) at their times January and February did not exist ^_^

At least the holiday is a reference to it. Just like it is believed that Jesus really wasn't born on Christmas, but we celebrate it anyway.

Edit: I'd like to point out once more than I am a Christian. ^_^

Jesus was born around the spring time is all I know, not winter

yet a lot of people give false reference that it is December25th, when actually December was the month it was pushed down to from the addition of the two months, which added over 60 more days or so...

annyyywayyy easter is when easter bunnies screw chickens, and the chickens come to earth and lay eggs on the ground so we can pick it up.

yep. they are so magical that, the bunny sperm can fertilize chicken egg, but there is a defect. the color isnt quite right, so its always like rainbowy blue purple etc.
