CM you said you thought about banning Frog and Ayla for abusive GMs...I can see why on Ayla because they were jerks to me there, and have broadcasted conversations, and have PVP events where they kill everyone and say that GMs are the winners... but I've never had a problem with Frog. As a matter of fact I talk to a couple of them every time I see them sitting in Prontera. I'd rather you think a while before you ban Frog, or atleast explain further as to why you want to ban Frog.

life is unfair that way, most of u didnt earn ur good chars anyways, u dont see anything about gm abuse on Frog because the gms are alot smarter than to make it obvoius on the other Newbie servers but trust me its ther, no noobs can put a fast on past me ^_^

i dont see anything goin on in frog, and thats right move to a different server i did, ayla sucked cause of GM drama leave it at home not in a game, i play on frog now and they dont take their bad days out on the players like in ayla, the gms arent abusive at all, i think every one that doesnt like frog is cause they dont know any one and cant get any free shit, well im just defending frog, if ayla gets banned or whatever i dont care, i dont play on it any more, if u like ayla then defend it if u dont then why bother with the issues it creates, just move to a different server :mellow:

time to put in my 2 cents:

Ayla: i've never played on, so i can't judge.

Frog: back when (a few weeks before the global wipe) Nu's crash rate was like 15 seconds (and i'm not kidding, i DID set my watch to it!) i played on that server ('fore the wipe i was SUPPOSED to be a sGM, but there voting system wasn't thought through correctly, so it was kinda hard to see who had the most votes, but oh well it doesn't matter). back then it was a GREAT server rarely crashed, less people and/or n00bs yup, that was a solid server.
now what it's condition is NOW, i don't know, but back then it was a VERY good "Nu's gone down so which server to play on now" server. but that was then, and i don't know about now.

there! that's my 2cents!

Bloodworth just to let ur mind at peace about the sgm voting thingy back b4 the global wipe. it was not just based on the number of votes in the forum but the TRUST of the admin to the person and recommendations from players ingame since many of them dunno how to vote in the forums..

um...people are gonna lose stuff they worked a long hard time on? are you kidding me?

unless it's B2 or another LEGIT server with NORMAL drop and XP rates you guys arent really working THAT hard

A casino where you can gable ofr about 30 min and get a dopple or pheeroni card

GM cards you can get for drops that are now common instead of rare.

Leveling that's eays. If frog drops people just have to spend a couple hours to get back ot a decent level. not a couple days

So dont comaplain. Some servers need to go. Get over it. shit happens. Sorry to be so harsh but im tired of people on like Nu and other high drop and XP rate sevrers complaining about an hour or so worth of work that tkaes normal players days and weeks.

I've been playing on it for almost a month. And I didn't mean I slaved on my computer waiting for .01% exp drops. I've already been through that and that's why I play on Frog instead of B2. So no need for being so harsh and sarcastic. I know how NORMAL servers work. I had a 99 on iRO.

Besides if you read my first post, I was addressing CM. I don't care if people comment on here, that's why I made it a post. But I didn't make it so people could read this and say things like "OMG N00BZ SERVERS GET BANNED STFU" or similar things.

Also look at the general Qrro forum and the post sever nerf ppl and see what some ppl want nerfed and what they don't

On a side note, Im' not just "complaining" about my character. If Frog needs a server wipe or something, I don't give a shit. It's the server I don't want to see to go. It's been the most reliabe server I've played on.

im saying that it shouldnt be this HUGE fiasco if it does. it's a FREE server therfore shit is GOING to happen, and you guys have no right ot complain if something happens. If you dont like how things are being run quit. But dont complain so much and dont make multiple topics for the SAME EXACT complaint.

servers get deleted due a lesser and lesser need for them...

with all the people quitting lately we dont need as many. and i can tell you right now the servers NOT going to go just out of popularity

Nu (qrRO Testing sevrer for new shit)
B2 (The only truely Legit sever people go on)
Frog (There is a good chance it wont get dumped. But if it does, oh well. Nothing much can be done but we have to many servers atm)
Spekkio (Though Neva is leaving im sure someone ele might try and take ove.r Hopefully not a bad person)

I understand what you're saying, Chain - however, not everyone cracks out on the game to level their character up to 100+ BL with 800 million under their belt in a few hours. Sorry, maybe I'm just slow or not very good at the game, but it took me the entire time I've been here to get my primary character on Frog up to Third Job. Granted I also have other characters to be concerned about, the rest of which are still second job. Usually, I play for story, not for power - as it were.

GM cards and uber rare drops? What, for me? HAH. Please, I spent a good while hunting Chimera (for the Byeollungum, so I could in turn hunt Werewolf > Excaliber and maybe have a chance at hunting Dark Lord > Berserk) and Gryphon for their drops. I killed them over and over and over again before I came onto the forum to check up on the status of items. Oh, apparently the ones I've been hunting all this time (including others I didn't mention) aren't even in the server item list/monster drops.

I look for my own items, kthx - the only case I really care about getting items for "free" is when I've earned them before hand and they were wiped, or something. Otherwise, what's the point? As I said, I play for story, and how am I supposed to rationalize my character suddenly having an uber +2000 vorpal wounding firebrand of icing death?

GM cards? The only card I've ever recieved from a GM was in a contest-event, and yes, I asked for a GM card because every freaking one else had one, and I wanted to see if they were really that good. And since I put it in a rosary, I couldn't even use it until I was level 90. I wasn't at the time I got it, and then I couldn't use it again until just a few days ago when I brought my Paladin to 90 once more.

My point is it's not actually as easy to become OMG UBER LEETZOR!!!11 when the players is story-based, even on a server as "easy" as Frog, or has other characters to play as well. My own fault for not being a level mongering whorebeast I guess.

But as I've said before; I won't be sore if Frog does go down (ehehe... ahem) - I just want my information from the characters before it does.

I can't claim to be as laid back about losing Frog as Lex, but I can take it with a grain of salt if I must. Frog was a good server, and I'd have to have these words become its epitath.

Frog is a server where my characters roam free, experiencing the world of qrRO nearly without lag. The beggars, rare as they are, do not distract from the fun that can be had while playing the game. I don't play for drops, weapons, items, and uber-1337 status. I play for the sake of playing. My characters have unique personalities, and interact with people in different ways. Several of my friends play much the same way, also on Frog. We make an effort to work our imaginations into both our characters and qrRO. The characters progress quickly through the levels so that they might kill the stronger monsters, which adds more of a challenge to the game than killing 1000 rockers to advance from level 38 to level 39. Levelling doesn't become a concern. Just playing, fighting what you feel like fighting, and working towards goals that you set for your characters. GM cards didn't even figure into my characters until I won a card during a GM event. I had decided not to specificaly twink out each of my characters with massive power-up cards right away simply because 1) all of a sudden, the game gets way too easy. The playability and fun factor decreases significantly, and 2) I'm far too lazy / inept / weak to kill Baphomet some unknown number of times to obtain five of his cards, much less any of the other items that would be neccesary to get a GM card.

Not everyone plays the way you descibe, Chain. No doubt there are people who do, but should those who do not be treated the same as those who do? Guilt by association, as it were? I say let the people be. The server shouldn't be considered a lesser or 'lazy' server simply because of the leveling scheme and drop rates.

Earning? I've played on Pay/"legit" server, as I'm sure most everyone here has. I don't consider earning and raging, life consuming boredom (again) the same thing, especially when I've already done it. What's wrong with taking it a little easy for a while?

UDSting... Why don't you read my first post? This isn't a thread for people to go flaming because they're annoyed at the people who are upset at the banishment of a server. I want people who know what they're talking about to tell me why Frog needs to be banned, not so you can read these and get pissed off, sarcasm or not, it isn't needed. If reading them upsets you to the point of doing stupid shit like flaming members of qrRO, don't fucking read it. I know you play on the server, so I won't say this doesn't concern you, but I don't care if you call it legit or not, people don't play RPGs to have their characters erased, and even if that doesn't bother them, they don't take pleasure in seeing their favorite server get banned. Yes I know that things like this happen, people WILL FUCKING CRY ABOUT IT. If you can't put up with it then stop worrying about it and don't read people's posts in this thread. I can understand why CM would get pissed about people's heads getting too big, and thinking they can do what they want and break his rules just becuase they are Admins and GMs. Just stop flaming... people will fucking whine about it.
