Since I take that you seem to not distinguish between publishers and game designers. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and EA are publishers. Square doesn't publish its own games(technically they publish through the console they sell on). Furthermore SSJ5 is forgetting how often EA impedes the developement of UO and all Origin games. One great point of refference is scrapping UO2. Another is the failure that is UO9. But back on topic the best publisher for computer games is microsoft and the best designer/almost publisher too for console is square. The best designer for computer games is Ensemble Studios(The AOE series)
