well, i just found out that the drop rates have changed drastically...which is just ridiculas.
for example, after killing at least 60 dokebis i havent even got 1 gold.
another, when i try to get poo poo hats, i even killed all the bears in hidden dungen and there were none.

so please cm, please return the drop rates or at least raise them up.
OR change the requirements for quest items!

I don't normally reply to these kinds of topics, but be patient. You're really not supposed to get poopoo hats from killing the bears once. It takes a lot of tries. Also, realize that 1 gold is worth 100,000 zeny, which should be a lot of money to your server (Nu or others) from just one item. Be patient.

well, i'm a long time qrRO player (but keeps returning and quiting lol)
and i usually get 1 poo poo hat every 2~3 bears
and for gold, 1 for 1

Well if you had read the big qrRO update, CM said something about making it challenging for the economy.

What about the new players? They cant get what we got since the drop rates where high when we played.

There you go, wipe is the only way to make things fair. Alot of people againts it though.

I have slowly lowered the drop rates over time, so it'd be more of a standard instead of a sudden "holy crap" type of change. A new player seeing others with special equipment should strive to get them instead of complaining that the others have them or that they were easier to get. (So is life - people before you had an easier time getting something rather than you, such as a high-up position in a company)

Nonetheless, if you wish to see a drop rate change, you can talk with a few other players and begin a poll if necessary.

i feel that the drop rates is fine, i was playing the other day (WOW david still plays?!) i found 7 poopoo hats after killing all the bigfoots in payon field. Dont use hidden dungeon to hunt stuff, cuz the monsters are limited there, unless your hutning somethign else in there then you can go around.

And to newcomers, this IS the original rate for them. since they haven't played before, and that is their fault for not finding qrRO when the rates were high.

yes it's their fault for not finding qrRO when the rates were high, but u have to think about them. Maybe they didnt find qrRO while the rates were high maybe because they were on different servers or they have never heard of it before. They started to play because they saw their friends playing. I believe the reason that they decided to play qrRo is because they heard their friends that "this is the BEST HIGH RATE server!!" (or something like that).

and cm, it is true that a new player seeing others with special equipment should strive to get them instead of complaining that others have them or that they were easier to get. But most new comers would complain is because they have TRIED to get them and it's taking WAY too long to get it or close the impossible. Even if the drop change overtime, you should at least change the requirements for the quest items (cards too).

before, i see qrRO is a place for noobs to become pros, but now it's just only for pros like any other low rate servers (just a bit higher exp rate).

dont flame me but

i know i have never played any other servers besides qrRO but from what i hear from some people is that alot of the drop rates are low

so unless qrRO is your first server ever or you were in a high drop rate server they should be VERY used to the drop rates
