One thing about Doom 3 is that it has the best graphics I've ever seen. Period. If anyone has this game, post your thoughts/in-game experiences/opinions/other crap. Hell Knights pwn

Doom 3 is based on the original Doom which involved a Portal to Hell opening in a Martian Research Facility.
We'll for one thing its not as fast paced as the original
Doom and Doom 2 , its a bit slower with a survival horror feeling.And yes it is really scary cause you can't carry your gun all the time cause you have to switch to your torch in pitch dark areas where all the Freaky Monsters are usually.

I had both 1 and 2 but 3 still creeped me out, it still does until now but *shivers* the monsters are muc creepier now than before cause they had a major sprite makeover.They really put much detail on the grossiness of the monsters like you can clearly see the entrails coming out from creeps stomach ewwwww >.<

Amen. Can't wait for the BFG though

I'm finally getting the hang of switching between flashlight and gun, or maybe my eyes are just adjusting to the darkness.

I love fighting Maggots(hate imps because they throw FIREBALLZ OF DOOM at you), but right now I'm getting swarmed by little spider dudes. I feel so ashamed that I'm getting stopped by little spiders -_-

BFG is good, but i think that you get it too late in the game
but nothing beats a flashlight, shotgun and if your up to some major noise, CHAINSAW MADNESS!!!!! :evil:

Switch to low graphics mode. There's pretty much no difference and it runs smoother

Now, if your computer is crap, then there's nothing to do about that

I'm not real into the whole "Survival Horror" video games, but the insane graphics made up for the scariness. I was, "wow! Look at the detail!" more than "AAA! THAT SCAREDED ME!" ^_^

But yeah. Givin it props for awsome graphics.

i only have lights for my guns...thats it oh yeah i also have a skin pack that makes everything VERY scary, thats it i got to Sector 3 almost at Sector 4 YAY, but ive stoped playing because my girlfriend hates me playing it
