VII. Hands down. All the characters are awesome, the story and locations are cool and different, and Jenova is just plain creepy. btw I didn't say VII because I'm a Sephiroth fanboy; in fact, I don't like Sephiroth that much. He has too much hair and he's gotta be compensating for something with that sword :blink:

Anyway, I"m rambling. It's the best, and that's all there is to it

ah, man FF 7 was the best, nothing beats 7 and nothing will, unless Suare Inix or w/e company makes FF man i forget, hmmmm ill look later, but yea unless they make a seual to 7 then nothing beats 7 :wub:

XD final fantasy VII was awsome no doubt but i found tactics to be more addicting =PPPP

But Advent Children looked to matrixy, i was watching the trailer a while back and i was like "wat the crap this is like mtrix with swords" i was sorta bumbed, im hoping that they make a sequal to 7

You should've put a vote for all of them cause i adore FF. i bought all the FF games. But i agree that FFVII is the best of em all cause VII is the one that got me hooked on the FF series

Well I don't know... I'd honestly say.. FFV... Considering.. it was one of the longest FF's.. Extended story line... It was a decent challenge.. Especially Omega... now.. I don't know about you guys.. I didn't plan to level up to 99 or such you know? Besides.. everyone says FFVII... I'd say because of Aeris^^ She so cwute^^. Well That's what I believe... But...all the FF's didn't really have that much interactivity.. Which.. made me kind of sad.. even FFX-2.. Which is... erm... Story for... FFVIII and beyond was pretty much messy... Square what are you dudes... thinking... Shouldn't get paid anymore. Heh.. I've been playing Final Fantasy games.. since I was.. 3.. So I don't know anymore... By the way, I almost forgot... Hmm, Vivi I think is the coolest character of all the Final Fantasies.. That's why I admire him. He's not... Like your everyday run of the mill hero, Cloud, Squall, Cecil, Locke^^, Tidus(Bleck him), Any one of the three girls of X-2, Bartz, Or any such... (BTW it's TINA NOT TERRA) erm.. I'm picky.. So what? Vivi's cool.. That's all there is to know....

Funny you should say that...Aeris is pretty much the only thing I DON'T like about FFVII -_-

I won't go into it now because it would take a long time to list all the things I don't like about her, but I'll just say she's friggin annoying and leave it at that

A lotta my friends like FF X-2 though >.<

. I mean, sure it's fun to LOOK at (they showed me the hotsprings part

) but it's just so...girly...and all the characters are idiots too. Brother makes me wanna crawl in a hole and never come out again <_<

Oh geez... VII or X...

I loved both of them... great stories, lovable characters, characters you love to hate... I dunno... i guess im gonna go with X. Don't get me wrong though; VII still kicks. Final Fantasy games are just so engaging... they hook you in to the story... almost like you're inside the game journeying with the characters. Square's a genius when it comes to making games, even besides Final Fantasies. (play Kingdom Hearts and Mario RPG to see what i mean)

P.S. Advent Children is gonna rock.

I almost missed school a couple times when I first played FFVII

. I played it 24-7.

Slash brought up a good point: FF games aren't Square's only strong point (though people seem to think FF is the only thing Square's ever made). They made an aerial shooter called Einhander that (in my opinion) is the best shooter I've ever played. It blows away R-Type and Gradius, but sadly people seemed to have ignored it. So, I know this is off topic, but if you like shooters, then go look for Einhander (It's probly really cheap since it's ps1)

1-6 (Jap/English for Super Nintendo)
Adventures 1+2 (GB)
Tactics, VII-X-2(PS and PS2)
Tactics Advanced (GBA)
etc etc
^_^

I would say FFX is the best because of its sphere level unique system

I thought the sphere grid system of FFX was unique and ingenious. It was a nice break from the norm. (Battle monsters, Lvl up, Battle Monsters, lvl up, etc.)
