Should be out Tuesday/Wedesday for both Japan and the U.S. Although from what I'm hearing...the PSP UMD wont be out for atleast another month (for the U.S.). Who knows...I could be wrong. Anyone care to prove me wrong other than waiting?

from what i've heard, the release date is pushed back to november. they wanted to do a theatrical release first.

anyone know if any company is gonna make the phone that cloud used? im hoping samsung would since they made the matrix phone, and is it just me or does tifa sorta look like rinoa from ff8?

man the movie is so freakin awsome, such good graphics, and i dled it in around 4 hours, there are Jap and Eng sub, its Jap Dubed. Vencint is looking and being cooler than ever.

sad to say it was kinda disspointing too much fighting not much of a plot and to much time spent on making cg instead of writing the story, and does the last move that cloud did on sephiroth remind you of gilgamesh from ff8?

What do you mean not much plot? the whole movie is based on a plot! even while they are fighting~ Why couldnt they show more of red 13 T.T i love that dog =D

dude it was an hour and a half of fighting they fact they tryed to put everyone in shows how hollow it was they spent like 15 mins in total talking bout real stuff

you mean the guy who takes Odin's Zantetsuken when Seifer kills him?that move he made was his Omnislash i think , and yeah i just finished watching Advent Children

I agree with some of the guys , there's not too much plot

After he defeated Sephiroth i was expecting some large powerful monster w/c they don't know about to suddenly come out caz thats typical Final Fantasy

Oh and i also watched the FF7 OVA stuff , i thinks there's two coming out buh i only watched one

Let me help you guy's out , to put it in simply terms it is a follow up to the game and that mean's that the story was told already... there you go and I was told that from a very good source I have in Japan ^.^

I was amazed.

I agree with Orphen. The movie is a follow up from the game. I believe that they said that when they first started making the movie. Pretty much it's continuing from the game. DUH!

Now, does anyone actually know the release date for the U.S.? From what I've been hearing and read, I got these dates. Sometime in November, December 7th, and December 27th. Those and that they were suppose to release the movie both in Japan and U.S. at the same time. But, that didn't happen. I also heard that they are releasing it both theaterical and DVD at the same time. Or, at least trying to.

I expected Advent Children to just be a movie version of FF7 the game itself
and it basically is. Because of this, Aeris is dead, she died in the middle of the game, she was nearly useless, actually VERY useless.

The plot of the story was already given in the game, play it if you really want to know the storyline. It's much more interesting than it seems ^_^
