I amn sure a lot of you have seen the opening trailer, the remake of it that is. It turned out that the remake was not for the game, but to show off the engine they were going to use in future games. Does anyone else feel like we were baited and hooked, then thrown back?

yeah.. i do... but the trailer was called a TECH demo, so i just hoped that they'd make a remake, never really believed that they would.. still i'm disappointed

No, I belive that Advent Children is still going to be relaced in Sptember. I think there talking about the remake of FF7 for the PS3.

Yeah, I was very pissed when I read a magazine that confirmed that it was not coming out. I was happy and everything, then I find out that it was just to show off their engine.

Yea, well, it's Sony.

They don't even have any real PS3 footage yet - only CGs that are what the PS3 supposedly can do.

Advent Children is still coming out in September for DVD and UMD (honestly, who is going to buy a UMD when DVDs are playable on everything else)

Go from there.

DUDE!!! You dont like FF?!!?

.....What? did you think I was gonna flame you or something? lol I know a whole lot of people that dont like the FF games and there still cool. You'd have to do someting a lot dumber than that to get me to yell ^_^

Well, I saw the FF7 Traler and I agree with Codemaster, Microsoft was espicaly fond of puting huge awesome GC tralers on the E3 floor but any system can make non-interactive movies, its the interactive part that counts.

In truth though, it might still be in the works. Putting out rumors about something is a good way to hook people while they aren't looking. Like, making you turn your back then ambushing you from the side with a game which they beat you down with.

Plus, I enjoy the older FF games... FF games now have lost their luster.

I agree. The past two final fantasy games just lost the inovation that the PSONE games had. And the dresssphere system of FFX-2 imfamy was just the Job system with a lot of eye candy and fan servace, I didnt like 10-2 but 10 was okay. I still say the best FF game was FF8 Squall rocks

Red Mage you are right about the last 2 FF games but 10 was not that bad
and squall was awsome in 8
7 wise I would have so say sephiroth cause cloud sucked

Okay, lets compare real quick, Cloud fought to protect the entire world and advenge Aries, Separoth killed aries and tried to destroy the world, Cloud had to fight inner tromiol to get the stringth to fight, separoth is a jerk. Also, I dont know if youve beat it, but Separoth LOST. yes, he lost to the person who 'sucks'. Compare and contrast, Cloud is the better and stronger one, just deal Kliss. your wrong

Actually, there are some things that took over in my imagination. Like, the idea that Cloud is already dead. If you put two and two together, this time it might come out as four. Think about it, Cloud seemly falls over on the ground in that one town. It doesn't say what happened to him, but he kind of different. Later, you go on a mission in Cloud to recollect yourself. In Mako none the less, so I was thinking. Sephiroth was saved by the mako, what if the Cloud you start off as is just a clone and the Clouds you meet and collect are really fragments of the real Cloud?

Just a little thought.

Cloud is a Mako creature with Zacks memories <.< That's all there is 2 it
The really pwnin 1 is Vincent or Nanaki xD

And best FF game was VI(III in Japan), then followed by VII
I think VIII just sucked. 2 much of a movie opera or sumthin

I think that Cloud is cloud, just changed by his exposeure to Mako. And about the Zack thing, it could be Zacks soul in Clouds mind, Kinda like the whole Yami-Yugi thing ya know?

And I loved FF8, In my oppinion the world needs more love as opposed to games where you kill old ladys and steal there cash *CoughGTAcough*

bu i still didn't like FF8 cause of the gameplay and storyline <.<
that was the only ff (xcept for the ps2 games, i don't have ps2 >.<

) i've only beaten twice (ff7 like over 10 times)

and 6 has love in it 2, look at celes and locke, tho they never get 2gether or go any deeper into the story x_x

or 5, every1 loves Faris :lol:

Yeah, I know what you mean, the Junction system was diffrent from all of the other systems of its time, It took some getting use to but it's my fave system.

And I know what you mean about Celes and Locke, that really sucks, they deserve each other but oh well

and yes, they do all love Faris, I mean whats not to love about a cross-dressing pirate princess? lol
