Well, i need some help guys.

On my main computer (im typing this thru a laptop), I'm having serious trouble with my internet connection.

Outgoing packets are always 100x greater than the incoming.

Hence, I cannot connect to the internet or any other net-related applications.

Strangly, though, the other terminals connected to this LAN (mainly this laptop I'm working on and my dad's computer) are unharmed.

My ISP is Adelphia, and my computer uses firefox.

I've already tried pressing repair on the connections menu, I've tried disabling/enabling, and I've tried uninstalling the network adapters and reinstalling them at reboot.

I NEED HELP GUYS!!!

PLEASE DONT LET ME DOWN!!!

Worst case scenerio, you can just buy a new networking card.

2 Gigabit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6837171302
1 Gigabit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833130103
100 MBs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833180004

You only need a 100 mb NIC card currently, but I anticipate 1 Gb cards will be required soon. (And if you use a crossover cable between two PCs with 1 GB cards, the transfer speed will reach almost a gig ;))

Or replace the ethernet cable itself because there is either a snag, or some interference causing distortion over your networking line. And dont forget to move your earth magnet cup holder off of it, yes it can hold wires too...
