Any of you who've played "Killer 7" Could easily agree with my "For the Win" Comment added in the topic title.

This game is purely amazing, sure, the shooting does get bland sometimes, and some people hate Cell Shading (Thoes pepole suck).

The games storyline is very well thought, and will have you thinking alot. You may of thought "OMG METAL GEAR SOLID IS MAKING MY HEAD IMPLODE!!!1/?/1/11 LAWLAWLAWLAWL" but compared to Killer 7 the complexity of MGS's Story line is a childs JigSaw puzzle, with 4 peices.

The way you move and shoot is pretty innovative. Your character is basically on a track, and you hold "A" to move forward, If you see a split path coming up you simplly point the Joystick in that direction and continue to hold A. Also hitting B at any time quickly rotated you 360 Degrees.

The thing about gunfighting is, generally when there is an enemy in the area, you here a laughter (from one or more of the foes known as "Heavens Smiles"), so you hold R to draw your gun and go into first person, but wait! You see nothing! How can this be?! Well you clever clever child you, you first need to hit L to do a quick 'scan' of your FOV (Field of Vision), if something is there BAM! You can now see it and shoot. None of the foe's have projectiles, the only way they can hurt you is A)They get to close, and run into you, causing them to explode, or B)Your an idiot and keep running, ignoring the laughter and footsteps you hear, which inturn makes you run into a Heavens smile.

And on top of all of the amazing storyline, and innovatave gameplay, there are some really really cool anime cutscenes. C'om what could be better?

PS: I reccomend getting the Gamecube version, I have read that the Textures and characters look worse in Ps2 and the loading times are horrid.

My rating? 8.8/10

No No No, The only aspect I was comparing MGS games to Killer 7 is the storyline. Some people thought MGS was a very confusing game, due to the Patriots, and certain other aspects of a game, I was simply stating that compared to Killer 7 the complexity of the storyline is child like.

It's a fun game, the only reason you might not like it is if you cant tap the "A" button about 9 times a second. (When a personality 'dies' the way you revive them is you go grab the remaning body part with Garcian Smith, then once you get back to the 'Harman Room' you forced to Tap the A button to 'infuse the flesh with life'. ) And on hard mode you must tap the A button EXTREMELY fast.

._. Its'a bitch.

hmm

honestly, i think it sucked

I could play that game and play Time Crisis at the local movie place for a lot cheapr...

And I'd like Time Crisis a whole lot better.

Killer 7 is the exact same as Time Crisis, cept w/o the light gun.

I dun care what kind of spiffy graphics or doodads you put into it, Killer 7 is the crappier version of Time Crisis.

Wow, you are quite the narrow minded idiot, arn't you?

What, you read what you just said in a review, or saw it on VGcats.com then repeated back here? Stop being so impressionable, the game is completely different from time crisis. There is alot more to a game then just gameplay, I'm not sure if your one-track-mind can comprehend the fact that some games are good, because of their storyline and NOT because how the gameplay is/is not similar.

As I just said, some games are good because of their storyline, some because of their gameplay, and some because of their surrondings and the times.

I really don't understand how people compare these two completely different games so eaisly. True, you do hold a button to make your character move forward on a set 'track' and when you want to shoot you stop moving and fire. Now that I mention it, there are only a few similarties too Time Crisis in the field of gameplay, only thoes things I said above are simiar. Killer 7 has puzzles to it, you can backtrack, you can switch characters, when a character dies; you can retrive them, characters have special abilities, you can upgrade stats; and get special moves, and finally there is diversity in the characters.

See, I think people compared this game game to time crisis Because of the few smiliarties I stated above. Time Crisis, was one of the HUGE hits of this Genre (THen Genre being: Interactive Arcade shooter games), and because it was so popular and so huge people compare games simiar to it, they say "Wow this game isnt as much fun as Time Crisis" Because Time Crisis, is a BIG thing only in the arcades. People loved the Time Crisis series, and now because they see a game on a Consol that is SIMILAR in SOME aspects, they compare it to their high standards on how much they liked Time Crisis.

But Ignoring the similarites and differences, and ignoring the allready set image people have of Time Crisis vs Killer 7, the other big thing is surrondings. Everytime I crave for a first person shooting game, that the character is on a set track, and you shoot in firstperson. I'm not going to have the money, nor the time to Drive 20 Minuets to Parmatown Mall, waste 20 dollers after waiting an half an hour for the game to finally clear up. And then what if I have the ugre again in an hour?

The surrondings and what the game is made for is a big thing also on how people think. If your willing to waste your cash EVERYTIME you want to play a First Person Shooter, then go out to the mall, blow your hard earned money. But hey, if your smart, and you look deeper then just the gameplay of a game, and want to play a game that has Substance, it has storyline, is makes you think, then stay home and play a much cheaper game on a consol.

storyline?

If i wanted a storyline, I would play Golden Sun.

I appreciate a good storyline in an FPS, take Halo and Half Life for example.

However, I dont what the storyline to be the FOCAL POINT of the game. And no, I didn't read any reviews regarding Killer 7. My friend happened to buy it, and I was playing around with it...for about 3 minutes. Then I simply stopped and went off to play Jedi Academy.

Those nitbits you spoke about. Those are good, IF the game itself was good regardless. &nsbp; &nsbp;I mean, a crappy game with good doodads is like moldy pie crust with good filling: In the end, it just doesnt work.

FYI, I found VGcats about 3 weeks after I played Killer 7.

Also, I resent the fact you call me an idiot.

So what if I don't like your precious game.

That by no means states that I'm an idiot.

Did you get the impression that the story was the focal point? I apologize if my post implyed that, because it is not what I was going for.

Oh three minuets, Eh? Wow, I'm sure thats enough time for anyone to create a verdict on a game.
But I can understand if my insult, well, insulted you, I apologize for the rudeness of my post, but still making a judgement on having such an acute amount of knowlage on the game itself.

Sure, when I first popped the game into my GCN, I was skeptical "WTF HIT A TO RUN? THATS HOMOSEXUAL!" But hey, I gave the game a chance and continued to play it.
