Well i pay absolutly no attension to before the play-offs but when there are 4 teams left I will watch ... I am Canadien so it is aboot our history and it is aboot our culture. (JK we dont say aboot! but we do ocasionally say eh.) neways hockey sucks untell playoffs hope this year is a good 1

alrighty... what happened to the NHL:
1. they suffered nearly a year-long lockout because of disputes between players and owners (since hockey is kinda poor the players couldn't make that much compared to other sports).
2. they've finally reached an agreement with a new salary cap.

I am SO happy about the return of the NHL, GO RED WINGS!! (my folks are from Detroit =P)

and I REALLY hope they change the local team's name from the 'Mighty Ducks'. that name makes me embarrassed to live in cali.

uhm, there are NOT fights every 5 minutes, and there are three teams in california: The Ducks, Kings, and Sharks, the last being my favorite of the three.

my family comes from detroit, so I'm a red wings fan. if you can't tell by my opinions both here and on the baseball thread... I don't like home teams, because a lot of california fans are morons, and lack knowledge of the game.
