Mini Shops are quite simple. If you have played on the Go-Gaia Forums, you are already ahead of the game. Only here, things will be run a little differently.


Mini Shops will be monitored by Codemaster and I. Anyone who is creative with computerized graphics is at home here. Dollz, Pets, Signature Graphics, Avatars, Animated Gifs. anything you can think of could possibly be used here for Forum Zeny. This is a way to create a kind of commerce within the qrRO Forums. Say for instance you just posted something, and you are waiting for a reply. Well you can go into this Mini Shop thread and look for different shops that are opened and approved. You can use your Forum Zeny as payment to the creators and have your own custom something or rather. This can include drawings as well. The object is to give those who have creative and artistic talent a place to shine and have fun doing so.

1. Approval- All Mini Shops must be sent to me for approval. If you are approved, your shop will be in this thread's shop listings. Your shop MUST be approved before they can be used in the forums. Anyone who isn't on the approval list will be deleted unless it's a test. Tests must be deleted immediatly after it's dissapproved.


2. Requirements- Mini Shops require a few things. One being a catchy original name. Names can unclude your character's name, or the theme of the shop. Another requirement is a 3 Post Reserve Minimum. First Post is the introduction, the second is a show of examples for items. Keep in mind the forum limits. The show of items also shows prices. The third post, is very important. This includes several things, one is donators, and the other is a list of every customer who has bought from your shop, and what they bought. Any other posts are your choice if you want to make more. There is a 6 Post Maximum.


3. Donations- If someone donates to you, weather it's Mini Shop work, Artwork, or Forum Money. you MUST give credit and awknowledge thier kindness. That is the reason for the Donation Customer Post. Update as much as possible. If I hear a complaint about neglectful shop owners, thier entire shop will be deleted.


4. Customers- Please post who bought from your shop, and what they bought. This helps you advertise and show that people trust you enough to buy items from your shop. Update as much as possible.


5. Scammers- Scammers, and people who dont pay thier half of the deal WILL be banned if proven guilty. Lying, Stealing, Scamming and the like is not tolerated on the Forums. However, if you cannot prove someone ripped you off, you are stuck with the consequences.


6. Copyright- Please do not take copyrighted work and change it. You can take a doll, or pattern and change it into a character frm scratch. Or draw a fan art if you want aas well. If you take an already copyrighted picture or doll and change the colors or something, that is considered stealing from someone elses already achieved hard work.


7. Boundries- There are of course boundries in which you cannod exceed. No Porn, or Hentai allowed in any items. Yaoi and Yuri is fine, as long as it isnt explicit. I'm not about to discriminate sexuality. If you are unsure about a certain item contact Codemaster or I for approval. Keep foul language to a minimum on all items. No explicit items or topics (I.E. "Colored Dildos!" or Some Shit) However some things are allowed within reason, please ask for approval first!


8. Commerce- All items are to be sold, and bought with/for FORUM MONEY ONLY. Any transactions that involve real money must be dealt with OUTSIDE of the forums and are NOT Quantum Raiders Responsiblity. You deal at your own risk when dealign outside of the forums with real money, or any other type of currency in a game. So don't complain if you are ripped off.


9. Webspace- This is a BIG issue. Codemaster has only so much webspace, therefore we request that large pictures, or ANY examples of what you are selling at hosted on your OWN image or website. We need to conserve as much space for him as possible. If possible, try and make the entire shop website based.

Here are some helpful tips for establishing and running your Mini Shop.



:::First of all, when you create a shop you need to have an idea in mind. Something you know will ppeal to your peers. Drawing,Pixel Art, Computer Graphics, Animated Gifs, Anything you want.


:::Next, you have to create a catchy name that fits what you are selling. Say for instance you were selling Kitty Pixel Art, you could call it "Kitty Pixey" I know it's lame, but you get the idea


:::Next is the hard part. You need to create a thread, posts, and layout. Layouts are wonderful things for catching the attention of customers. On the forums however, it might be difficult unless you know BB Code, and HTML. Images and Banners are a great way to get attention.


:::Advertise! Put a banner in your signature with a link to your shop! Get the word out, or you can visit another Mini Shop and have them make a banner for you! That way you help others along with yourself.


:::Just because you host a Mini Shop, doesnt mean you cant buy from one. Buying from other Mini shops can benifit you as well as the seller. They might check out your shop and buy something from you out of courtesy.


:::Keep buisness boomin! If you limit items to a certain amount, people might want to hurry and get them before they are all sold out. Try not to sell more than 20 of 1 certain item. Be sure to number the items at the bottme left or right corner with something like 1/20. Meaning that person bought the first item of the collection.


:::NEVER advertise in someone elses shop with a post. It is rude and inconsiderate. Bumps, and chat are perfectly fine as long as it's fine with the Mini Shop Owner. Bumpes move a falling thread to the top of the page so it's visible. However, do NOT over do bumps.


:::Be nice to your customers, and keep prices reasonable. Not to low, and not to high. Do not flake out on a sale either just because you got lazy. That's why you edit the first post and call it closed. Dont leave possible buyers hanging. It's just bad business.
