Filipinos....Hacienda Luisita

Talk about whatever school stuff here.

Postby PrinceLabuta » Sun Jan 23, 2005 7:27 am

the Philippine government is a very oppresive government. instead of sympathizing with the workers on strike at the Central Asucarera de Tarlac they have sided with the management of the said hacienda. and many people have already died. this place is the opnly place where the Feudal system is still implemented in the Phil. and thats what makes this country suffer.

need your replies,

A revolution is not a dinner party, or writting an essay, or painting a picture or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.

that idiot? she should never have been president! i mean if Marcos was still president (and he did win the election, really) the country would never have been this dysfunctional. its all the fault of that FVR. and Aquino, after 6 coup attempts and 6 years as president, she still didnt find out who really killed her husband. she is an oppressor of the people

Well it would depend on their countries definition of treason and the current regimes interpretation of that definition...

Anyway the solution to your country’s problem is so simple

Two words:

Libertarian Socialism
I am Alpha and Omega
The beginning and the end
The first and the last
...And you shall be as gods...

from the Xenogears opening.

Our Country proudly announces to the world as the only "multi-party democratic bi camaral republic" in asia. But in Reality, our government is in the top ten most corrupt governments in the world, that didnt hapen when Estrada was the President. Our Foriegn debt was not 200 billion dolars. when we were under the Marcos administration, the country is the most powerful nation in South East Asia, both Military and Economy with the record of 1 Phil Peso = 1 US$, a record still unbeaten even by Japan. Now, the Exchange rate, 55.34 Phil Peso = 1 US$.

GOD SAVE THE PHILIPPINES!

I remember hearing about the former first lady of the Philippines [the one who's husband was exiled into Hawaii] had spend an obscene amount of the country's money for herself: thousands of pairs of shoes and things like pantyhose, which hundreds/thousands of them were even unopened...

Lol wtf. -_-

When my mom brought my sister, brother and I to the Philippines she told us not to speak [English] because the government there was all corrupt. These cops pulled us over and told us that we ran a red light [and we didn't] and fined us. When they went away to talk with eachother my mom heard them say in Tagalog "..they speak English really well and they must have American money." Or something. And they fined us more. They suck.
GONE.

Well we could blame communism’s problems on human nature, but I feel that’s a cop-out. There are a whole slew of social-economic problems with communism, at least the eastern European version.

First off, communism was supposedly to start in a country with an already existing, large industrial base. However, most communist counties (Russia especially) were economically based on agriculture. Marx meant for it to start in a country like Britain (or the UK, whatever), Germany or even dare I say it, the US of A. Proper conditions weren’t meet in Russia, so from the start it was going to be plagued with problems, in addition to this Lenin died and Trotsky fled the country leaving it in the hands of the mad Stalin. How many countries could come out smelling like roses after a run with him in charge? Thanks to his dominion over Eastern Europe, he managed to ruin everything for everyone else. Luckily for China it managed to rebuke his influence and it’s not doing so badly, it still didn’t meet all the requirements for communism either unfortunately. As for Vietnam, well it is still recovering from the ravages of war and N. Korea is under the control of a madman so they would be doing so well either…

Simple human nature isn’t the problem here, it's that these countries didn’t have what we had, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Jay and John Marshall

It is true that the Philippine Customs are a pain in the Butt! they'le sqeeze you.

as for Imelda Marcos' 6000 pairs of shoes, they werent bought, but were gifts from the Shoe workers at Marikina as she was their biggest Patron.
(think about it, if you are just a lowly shoe maker then the first lady comes and buys your ware, would'nt you just give it for free?)

Father Magna (Priest)
Lord Magna (In The Making)

I have nothing really out there that's random and crazy to say for my signature, so, I'll just say go check out my myspace, it usually has something crazy in the title portion of the page...whatever is there applies here, so that should suffice.
