I think that for the most part, consumers will pretty much stay the same as they did when the first revolutionary consoles came out, kids who bot the xbox will buy the 360, kids who bought the ps2 will buy the ps3 and so forth. Personally I've always had a preferance toward the playstation, the best RPG's and the most oldschool feel to it, granted nintendo is still the only really "old school" system left runnin, but they gone to shit if you ask me 
The problems i have with the GB micro is this....is it really necessary?! A new GB comes out like every other month it seems, one right after the other. All it seems that nintendo is trying to do is rob people of their money. Nintendo's DS was a huge success and I personally love them, but still the PSP I would have to say is superior in many ways shapes and forms.
I'm just hoping that when these Next Next generation consoles come out I wont have to sell my car, house, arms, legs, and dog to afford them

To a point I think it is, I mean look at the old Atari's. No matter how bizare it sounds these consoles are a part of history, something to define our time periound and/or generarion. The atari symbolizes first gen gamers, and anyone who has one now holds a piece of history. I think the same can be expected from these new consoles.

i rather continue playing games in my pc cause is almost the same in all ways.

Hmm well I agree with Mutsumi she is correct in her observation of what people will most likely buy. On the other hand people should definetly be swayed by the games made for each and the graphics. I am in a way let down by XBox because it is made by a computer company you'd think that they would have way better systems to make there computer prowess. Sony on the other hand is a electronics company not fixed on computers but able to make extrodinary gaming systems, so I will buy both but I will probably play the PS3 alot more.
