Dungeons and Dragons Online seems to be a promising game, and because I'm such a nerd, I pre-ordered the game (GETTING MY FREE AC + 1 AMULATE. YEAHHHH) which Means i can play for 10 days, and still use my character.
Now, on to the graphics. Here is my character, He is a Warforged, he is so cool. So Cool.
Yo whoops! But really.
Sexy, no?
Now that you've seen the graphics, lets move to gameplay, shall we? Basically there are towns, towns have quests, people and NPC's. Generally some quests can be done on your own, but it is best if you know, have parties. Doing that is simple enough, if you hit O it opens up the Social menu, which lists people, what kind of party members they wish to have, and any comments they leave by their name like "BEST CLERIC EVAR"
Or.
"NO HALFLINGS ALLOWED, LOLLLOLOLOL"
Once your past that, lets go into the Dungeons aspect of this game. Now, the weapons are exactly the same to Pen & Paper DnD. You've got your 2d6 greatsword, two handed weapons, one handed weapons, shields. The works. When you attack something, you see a 20 sided dice roll in the bottom right. Im sure you can guess how the rest works. If your number rolled is higher then their armor, you score a hit, if not, you miss. Oh, also you can block,a nd if you dont block you're fucked.
Personally I love the game, it adds a (slightly) different way to play MMO's. It's a bit more action based, and DnD Fans will like this game.
Here I am....rock you like a hurricane.
