Ok... This my first official Rant. Here goes (startin 2 breathe heavily):
OHHHH MY FUCKIN GOD!!!!! DID NU GET RUN OVER BY SOME ASSKISSIN N00BS WHO THINK THEY CAN GET 2 GM LVL IN A NIGHT BY SELLIN THEIR BODY??

But serious, we got a BIG problem with our current gm's... I mean, yesterday we had odis, ashura, chunli, and 57 other gm chars <.< Today we got like 61 gm chars... And best thing is, most of the gm's don't know SHIT about the game itself. They're all like: "Yea, i just wanna be gm cause i wanna help other ppl", or "i wouldn't lvl myself or kill in pvp cause i can as a gm"... BULLSHIT

Best example:
~:MissAmerica:~... no offence but: she's n00b... she atked my sin yesterday for about half a min with DS, i kill her sniper. She get's mad, says i'll pay, gets her sin, atkes me. i kill her sin, tryin 2 avoid it tho. I wanna apologize, she warps away. Brings in her Champ... Asura's me for about 5 times, i survive and mash 5 berrys, tryin 2 tell her 2 stop atkin me, i don't wanna kill her ... she doesn't listen ... i kill her champ. Still tryin 2 apologize and tell her she should quit atkin me, i don't wanna kill her <.<. She says now i'm done for, gets in her mage... i equip gtb, she can't atk me. then she WALKS (not warps) away and says "lol"... that's it. i don't kill her, nothin, but she get's pissed at me and says i should stop killin her chars...

THIS PERSON IS A GM NOW!!!

mhh... I know her from be4, so i can't say anything 2 bad about her. But cause i'm honest, i'll say this. As a gm, i can still kill u <.< shouldn't be possible... But atleast u TRY 2 help players... Not with comments like:

Well, I really don't care what GM are there or not, but it seems most of the GM who are "GM cause they want to 'help' people" don't really help people at all or don't even try to help people.

1. Why doesn't a subGM have the skills to help people? Doesn't a Cop of the right tools for the right job? And when he doesn't have the right tools for the right job, doesn't a cop call for backup or better yet, go out of his way to make sure the person he is trying to help is 100% satisfy?

2. What is the MOST important job for a GM out of these two? Kicking Beggers, or helping Players?

3. If certian skills for higher GMs are available for them, and not for the lower GM? Is it because subGMs will abuse those skills? And if so, why are those abusave GMs even GMs in the first place?

4. Like I said in the chat, all GMs should not even have a high lvl character in the game nor even more than 2 charater in the GM account. A GM should not "show off" their powers, they should use those powers to help people have fun with the game.

I'll admit I'm not the brightest in computer things. But i will eventually get the problem solved ^^;

I became a GM to do events though too ^^, and do my best to help others at times too. I've never turned down a person wanting game or Tech help, but I have turned down people asking for lvling help, or items gathering help.

I'm also looking at older posts and such to gather info on how some of the same issues that people run into today, where fixed in the past. that way i'll have the correct answer ^^

If we have the ability to edit the gm config, why don't we allow sGMs to help players and take away the powers that full GMs abuse, such as charlevel, stat, and item.

Rendo to your problem you have to get a GM to give you a butterfly wing so you can warp back to your save point. Easy as that.

the truth is that the GM are for help, any KIND of help,
if someone are of those gms that they simply hide when they ask him/her questions or cut there chat channel so that they could not bother them, please be a normal player and take off that title.

hmmm..I don't remember being able to kick beggars when I was sGM... it was the hardest work ever...all I do was answer people's questions over and over*can I ask you a question? can you help me out with my problem? my other char is stuck in this place? how do I patch? I get error here and there.. this item erorrs me, take it out and so on and so forth..* the only prob I have are beggars begging and I can't do anything to kick em out..the char stuck in someplace, lol very easy to fix*I asked for their passwords and account name and go in their char and warp in Pront* but yeah when I got into GM2 it made things a lot easier..I could jail/kick beggars, jump to people and see how they are and the coolest coomand of all @kami*where I braodcast the answers to the FAQ's* and yeah Gm-hide love this command^^ people wont break the rules if they see you right? so why not hide and spy? caught more rule breaking people hiding than when I do just warping to em..

and yeah I think there was a topic a long time ago where we said that commands used to abuse*like making items* should be deleted but dunno..never happened and I think CM post replies there but oh well..nothin happened.. I don't know why a lot of people want to be Gm's, maybe its the idea of getting all 300 stats, the idea of changing into any monster etc..all they see is the good things..they don't see the Pm's and the questions GM's are asked over and over*no wonder some GM's dont want to be Pm'ed* they only see the good things" and GM's who kill people in PVP lol, they get to be killed by a normal player and they kill the player with their Gm chars..how gay 300 stats against a char who leveled up and trying to kill a GM and suceeded! I've been killed in PVP with my GM char before hey when I was a player and there's a GM in PVP room I would always wonder how high my damage would be against a GM so its just for fun^^ and if I'm not in the mood to be lab rat just hide and watch them or just go to pront pub say im afk and time to do my house chores...

True Zindane, but despite popular belief the position of GM is not to help people, it is to manage the server and find rule breakers and punish them accordingly, helping is just a nice thing to do on the side...legitimatly, despite what people say giving some1 255 levels is not helping them... thus further prooving you are n00bs

Ah Gm killing it pisses them of but I love it the idiots cant figure out what stops Asura or Car Rev or SinCross Breaker or Sonic Blow that if dont right will hit max damage and they die heh. So my remedy is to kill the Noob Gm. All they can really do is one hide sneak on you then kill you or 2 @kill you thats it they been gms for so long they forget how to fight. And if they are good gms they would look in the effects and see that there is an effect that means the invurnarable buuuut they arent that smart at times, there are good gms but meh You would think the good would over come the bad buuuut meh seems it aint true here.

Yea...These kinda posts make me angry ><! i've only ever @killed one person, that being myself, just so I could @alive. but none the less, i'm not coruppt (sp) There is abolutly nothing to gain by breaking the ruels, so a character gets uber times, nothing they couldn;t already get on their own with hard work. in a game this simple, those GMs that do abuse are simply looking for a free ride, and ruin the rest of our names. maybe instead of saying ALL GMS ARE S0X0RS, try giving names, then those bad GMs can be taken care of.

how many GM related post are there gonna be? seriously, cant we just make one big topic and have everybody rant in there about the GM instead of making a million useless topics?

Nu does have too many gm's, well at least some of them are making 2-3 chars on one GM account. they should be limited to at LEAST 2 per GM account. i think it was something like the first 61 names on the athena control panel ladder list were GM chars. at least delete the old GM's so that there arent so many on the list, and i find it really useless to have 9 gm's on the server at one time (which happened a week or two ago) most of them were sitting in pront except one(which i dont know what he was doing).

personally, on slash(although its down at the moment) i dont think im the greatest GM. lately there havent been that many beggers/spammers on slash, so all i really do is sit and pront and wait for a problem. also lately not very many problems have occured (cept this one guy that was on a peco when he turned to lk) so im kinda bored. i dont want to do events that often becuase i dont want a lot of people with rare items. as some of you have said, they should take out some of the GM commands. preferably the ones that temp GM's to abuse, like @item and so on. but you gotta think about having to restore somebodies item and/or char(with a legitemate screenshot). it doesnt happen a lot, but just in case it does, the command is there.

all in all i think CM shouldnt have selected that many people from the GM test. even if they did know answers and what not, it really pissed people off to see so many new GM's and half of them known to be stupid/morons/unintelligent. you need to find people that will be on at least every other day for at least an hour checking up on things, maybe only 3-4 gms per server tops. to me sGM's seem really useless...since they only have basic commands, and they cant really help with problems and such.
