sorry if i put this in the wrong section, its just this would be the best place to get a responce.

We all hear about THE WORLD in .hack and we wish and dream about it, but is there a way that it could be in technological reach? I just want us to put our heads together because im interested on how you guys think we can make this work.

like, how would the mask work, how would you look around and the screen follows, how would you attack, etc.
I personaly think the idea of a virtual reality mmorpg isnt really all that crazy of an idea. buti know we wont be able to find a way to get it as good as .hack on the first swing.

so go ahead and share your thought.

Well they do have some crappy virtual reality games where you wear a mask, in arcades, so i think that it would be possible to take those and upgrade them to be part of an mmorpg. I think it'd be so completely awesome to have The World as an MMORPG!!!

um...most mmorpgs are pretty immersive in itself...they just cost money...

*sigh* money, always such an issue, i wish there would be an online game for once that just had ONE fee, like buy the game, then you never have to pay again....but then again, it would suck for the company to keep having to to server maintenance...

i was thinking that if you attached something to the shoulders that told the game when you moved your head, it could make the screen pan from side to side or up and down as you turn your head, so it would be as if you are actualy looking around

that would be a cool idea...and yeah the money thing sucks...lol i know people still addicted to Ultima Online! damn that game sucks

^talk about a crazy idea if you could log in and out of the world and wake yourself from the coma...

bandai better not make it suck...

max virtual reality, be in space in like a room with all these wires attached to you that makes the char move

*my head rolls off from lying on the keyboard...*

but thatd kinda suck...cuz....they'd panic and send u to hospital.....then u cant go back to your body even if u wanted to...you're on life support for a month...then they decide to kill you...thatd suck.....

but if they DIDNT CARE...

my body somehow drones to school, while im playing like 24/7
